Doing it to raise money for mental health programs. Crazy? Helpful to society? Both?

In all honesty though, who would want the ring that Ron earned?

I hope whoever wins gives the ring to Ronnie... yea I know NEVER =P

A great gesture!

Count me in as one of the people who will participate in the raffle. If we can buy tickets in bulk, all the better. I imagine the Lakers fanbase alone would break the $100K threshold. That's not including the celebs and athletes. I hope they continue to publicize the auction and allow online raffle ticket purchases.

If I won, I don't think I could keep it for myself. I didn't work for it. It's not my blood, sweat and tears that went into winning it on the court. I'd probably hold onto it for safekeeping, until Ron hangs up his sneakers for good, and then give it back to him.
