I do. I have bought them from someone and record some myself.

How else do you think highlights get posted to youtube? People gotta have the game in order to do that.

No, I mean you actually have. Meaning you can put it in VHS or DVD and rewatch whenever you feel like it.

Ur a strange man JB. My answer for this thread is zero. I tend to get dvd's like "Chicago Bulls the 1990's" which has a few great games on it (i dont know if that counts).

I have 2 classic Lakers games recorded on my DVR, and a 3rd one being recorded right now.

Lakers vs Celtics, last game Kareem played

Lakers vs Pistons Game 7 of 1988 Finals.

I have the Laker Championship DVDs from 1985, 2000-2002, 2009, currently ordering 2010.

I also have the Lakers Complete History DVD Box Set 1960-2000, which has a few classic games I think.

http://www.amazon.com/NBA-Dynasty-Angeles-Complete-History/dp/B0001Z37J0/ref=sr_1_2?s=gateway&ie=UTF8&qid=1284951478&sr=8-2

Plus the Michael Jordan DVD Box Set.

I have used to have Laker games and other NBA classics on my HDD, but my HDD crashed recently so I lost them.

The future has presented us with Youtube and Google where we could easily search up classics. No need for DVD or VHS sets anymore.

There is one guy I usually use who probably has over a 1000 games in sports that includes NBA, NCAA, NFL, MLB, Tennis, etc.

But I don't think I am allowed to post the link here.

Watching sports when you knwo the result is not exciting at all.

Im sillt wondering how to download SUperbowl files that dont say who is the winner in the archive. So i can see them "a new" by not searhching Wiki to see who won.

I've got 28 games on my external HD right now, ranging from Jordan's 63 in '86 to the '92 Gold Medal game to Durant v Lebron.

Probably have 10-15 more on DVD, almost all of them being Bulls games.

Most of the Jordan films are on my PS3's HD, things like "Come Fly With Me"

Newest addition: Kobe's 81 point game

Started taping games in '79.

Taped many, many Net games (have Buck Williams last game as a Net).

Have many Julius' Sixer games, especially the playoffs.

Would also tape games with great dunkers, and edit down the dunks and blocks (Billy Ray Bates and Edgar Jones had some incredible dunks).

Have many Net games that by brother DVD'd and sent to me here St. Louis since I moved here 10 years ago (no NBA League Pass here).

You can record games off of NBA TV or you can search under ioffer for games that people have or even get the DVD set from Amazon of certain teams.

None? It's like reality TV. I don't see much point in watching a game I've already seen aside from the highlights. I'd actually rather read about those games.

when im done watching a game, im done

even if i see a replay on NBATV of a game i never saw live like old MJ games or Lakers/Celtics 80s, I'll watch for a second and leave. I dont like watching replays for some reason

even if i miss a game and record it to watch it later, i always end up fast forwarding it and watch it in fast mo lol

^Kobe's 81, and a ton of other games can be found online.

I never save taped games, but I love me some NBA TV and ESPN Classic games. Also big on NBA League Pass broadband.

That's pretty cool to have some of the old games on tape, though. I like the idea of it.

I still have a ton up in my attic dating back as far from the early 80s. A ton of Showtime Lakers and some vintage Jordan as well. I use to record and buy a lot in mid 90s. Last tape I bought was the 02 Lakers championship run and stopped after that because the whole "DVD/DIGITAL" phase came into play. Now, it's straight up ESPN Classic and NBA TV for me.

I think I recorded the NHL allstar skill competition once. When I was a little kid. The family just got a new VCR that had a timed recorder option on it. The same night the skill competition was on, we had a family dinner to go to, so I tried it out. It was pretty awesome.

1979 NBA Finals
1980 Finals
1981 Finals
1982 Playoffs
1983 Playoffs
1984 Playoffs
1985 Playoffs
1986 Playoffs
1987 Playoffs
1988 Playoffs
1989 Playoffs
1990 Playoffs
1991 Playoffs
1992 Playoffs
1993 Playoffs
1994 Playoffs
1995 Playoffs
1996 Playoffs
1997 Playoffs
1998 Playoffs
1999 Playoffs
2000 Playoffs
2001 Playoffs
2002 Playoffs
2003 Playoffs
2004 Playoffs
2005 Playoffs
2006 Playoffs

And a bunch of games from mid 80s till mid 90s (recorded)
My uncle who lived in the states had a huge archive which he gave to me in around 2000/1 season and I continued the tradition. (Didn't find it worthwhile to keep going after 2006 though). The earlier ones are mostly recorded so something is missing from some games but it's still great quality given the age and time it was recorded. I occasionally watch some great series from 80s or 90s when I got nothing else to do. Makes you wonder how much the NBA has fallen over the years when you see all those great players and teams :)

Everything you need is available for free on the internet...It's pointless to buy game dvds or vhs anymore unless you're saving it as a collectors item...in which case you wouldn't take it out of it's wrapping anyways.
