Portland TrailBlazers will have the Homecourt Advantage

Portland vs Utah
Winner: Vote here!

The total of votes for each team will be counted (all 4 options together) and the team with the higher total wins. Eventually, the result will be the option with the most votes (out of 4 options) of the team that has the most votes altogether.

If the option which has been voted most out of all 8 in the poll is "Memphis in 6" (20 votes), it doesn't necessarily mean that Memphis has won. If Memphis has 50 votes (Memphis in 4, 5, 6 & 7 altogether), but New Orleans has 55 votes (New Orleans in 4, 5, 6 & 7 altogether), New Orleans is the winner, although it didn't have the most votes in any of its 4 single options. The option with the most votes of the winner (New Orleans) is the final result.

Let's say:
Memphis in 4 = 10 votes
Memphis in 5 = 5 votes
Memphis in 6 = 20 votes
Memphis in 7 = 15 votes
Total = 50 votes

Now lets say New Orleans has
New Orleans in 4 = 12
New Orleans in 5 = 13
New Orleans in 6 = 17
New Orleans in 7 = 13
Total = 55 votes
The winner would be New Orleans in 6 since they would have the most votes total overall and thus the option for them that was voted the most is New Orleans in 6 would become the final result.

this would be close I just don't trust portland to be healthy for the playoffs

To many possibilities for things to go wrong with Portland. Utah wins this. Utah is the perfect match for Portland. Bell on Roy, Milly on Aldridge, and DWill having his way with Andre 3000 Miller. Portland's bench is a little scary though. Good thing Matthews will be cleaning it for them. :)

A healthy Portland team does it for me..

Roy/Oden/Alridge is a really good trio.

The Blazers impressed everyone last season the way they handled all their injuries and still made the playoffs while winning 50 games.. Considering they have HCA, I think Portland takes this in 7.

Portland in 6

If Portland stays healthy, that could end up being one heck of a series. I'm giving the edge to Utah simply because of Sloan but I could see the series going either way.

Portland in 5 with healthy Oden

I am saying Portland in 6.
Utah has always been able to give the blazers fits. Portland has more of an insurance policy though this year compared to last year with Camby on a full season not to mention with people finally accepting Miller. Really annoying how everyone kept hating on him then loving him the next moment.
plus it would be fun to watch Mathews beat up on his old team

This would be another great series but I would give the edge to the Blazers in 7

I think Portland will finally be healthy this year, so i said Portland in 5 because Roy/Oden/Aldridge is just scary.

Blazers in 6

this could easily go to G7.

It remains to be seen whether Al Jefferson can be the low-post scorer they want. Utah still has a very good team, but with a healthy Portland it's going to be difficult for a lot of teams to beat them.

With Oden and Camby manning the middle and possibly Pryzbilla as well, and Batum and Mathews guarding the perimeter that presents a lot of depth which will be a tough defense to score on. Then you add in Roy, Miller, and Aldridge as the scoring threats and this team can be dangerous. Too much for Utah to handle, Portland in 6.

I will say this though, if the home court were in Utah it would present problems because playing there is awfully difficult. Since we have HCA and the Rose Garden is a tough place to play, then that advantage goes to us as well.

portland 4-1

09-18-2010, 11:26 AM
portland in 7

Utah in 6..

There's too much health factors in this series. Portland's entire team has a difficulty with staying healthy, while Al jEfferson and Mehmet Okur have the same problems for Utah.

But if the teams are healthy, I got Portland

Although Utah has the better duo of DWill-Jefferson over Roy-AlDrige, Portland has a better overall team. A lot of depth as well, they have a great bench, while Utah lost their bench during the offseason.

If everyone healthy, I got Blazers in 6 or 7

I think Al Jefferson needs to have a huge impact for the Jazz to win.
