Wow the West is really stacked.

Hornets, Rockets, Suns, and Grizzlies all have a legitimate shot to make the playoffs.. It's kind of hard for me to choose, but I cannot imagine CP3 missing the playoffs again..

I vote Hornets..

Just realized how amazing the West. Rockets, Grizzlies, Hornets, Kings, Suns, and CLippers w/o a curse can all make the playoffs.

But as long as Houston stays healthy, I think they make the playoffs.

Now THIS is a real toss up.

I can see EVERY one of those teams being the 8th seed except for Minny. ALL OF THEM.

Yeah Denver ****** this poll up. Melo is as good as gone.

Even if it's at the deadline the Nuggets would then fall out of contention QUICK.

Give me the Hornets if CP3 is healthy. No way they miss the playoffs if CP3 stays healthy.

When healthy, it's Houston. Unfortunately, Yao and K-Mart resist that temptation and I think losing Ariza will hurt them more than they realize.

So I'm going with Phoenix, who seems to be a team that can win even without Amare just because they all gel together so well.

wow  to Pheonix not making the playoffs
1.Los Angeles
2.Dallas
3.Portland
4.Oklahoma City
5.Utah
6.San Antonio
7.Pheonix
8.Denver (without Melo, with Melo I think they get the 4 seed, then OKC the 5, Utah 6, San Antonio 7, and Pheonix the 8.)

with or without Melo, I still think the Nuggets are a playoff team

With Melo
PG.Billups
SG.J.R. Smith
SF.Melo
PF.Kenyon Martain
C.Nene

Without Melo
PG.Billups
SG.Aaron Afflalo
SF.J.R. Smith
PF.Kenyon Martain
C.Nene

That is assuming they dont get other players that would start like if they get Noah or w/e. Even without Melo, that is a scary lineup. Billups is IMO #4 PG in the league, J.R. Smith and Afflalo are legitimate 3 point shooters, and Martain and Nene would be a force in the post. This is also assuming Martain can stay healthy.

Last year on this Phoenix was voted the 8th seed and they ended up the 3rd seed.

Even though PHX loss Amare i think they are still capable of just making the 8th seed

Rockets.

If Denver trades Carmelo, they drop out and it's going to be the Hornets.

rockets...i think its gunna be close with the suns though...just because of how good steve nash makes everyone better. but wen you replace amare with warrick...idk i like the rockets lineup way better(homerism i know) but with a healthy yao and martin healthy...thats alot of points...

its really a toss up. I dont buy Yao will regain his all star form right away and then theres still chemistry issues to work out with Kmart. Suns have issues losing an all star and integrating 3 newbies, but it shouldnt be hard for them to gel since they already have a solid identity and foundation. Houston's obstacles seem more difficult to overcome so obviously ima go with my home team.

Plus we were the third seed last year for crying out loud. I dont see us dropping that much.
