Simple question. A lot of injured guys last year.
Who has the most to prove? Oden's possible bust label? Blake avoiding the same discussion as Oden? Yao coming back to form? Redd every seeing the court again? etc.

Oden

This is going to be lopsided towards Oden.

Aside from him, people are forgetting about Griffen. He's probably going to compete with Wall for ROY and may even win it. So I think he has to prove he can be healthy from his knee injury. If he is, the Clippers future will be bright and maybe their 'curse' will end.

Oden & Griffin.

Why is Randolph on this list? He was barely a lottery pick and never played at a high level.

no t mac?

7 time all star that was at the peak of his game and then hit rock bottom bc of injuries.

he didn't slowly get worse over time. he just crashed.

he is only 31 which is 3 years older than d wade and wants to prove that he is still a ****ing baller!
he is constantly knocked for not making it out of the first round and getting healthy will be the first step for him to finally do it. maybe even be a starter on a championship caliber team like vince carter or artest
if that isnt the most to prove then i dont know what is.

i voted oden because this is prob his last chance to prove himself yao has already proven himself and hasnt been injured his whole nba career

Oden & Griffin.

Why is Randolph on this list? He was barely a lottery pick and never played at a high level.

Mainly because NY was confident enough to trade away Lee for Randolph who was in Nellie's doghouse and got injured. Suppose to have elite potential but that remains to be seen. If he can't do well in NY he may as well be labeled a guy who was all potential but never reached it.

How is it not Yao?

I think most will pick rookie's not trying to be labeled a bust vs. a Vet coming back from an injury. I'm surprised there aren't many Yao/Bogut votes.

Oden by a mile. While Blazer fans are having to watch Durant become all world, they all know Oden can be a fantastic player if his damn body would cooperate.

Let's re-read this.... The 14th pick in the draft is supposed to have "elite" potential. Not potential to be a top player on his team, not a top player at his position in the league, but elite?

No. If Randolph has potential to be elite then guys like Oden or Beasley or Griffin have GOAT potential.

Not my calling. All I've read from scout's reports and guys like Odom who said he reminds him of himself and has Hall of fame potential.

Where you picked doesn't mean your potential varies.

I would say Yao and Blake but can we include Arenas?

Tmac...especially with all his comments and how fast he fell off. Remember that one handed reverse "dunk"?

I think it's Yao Ming. Oden is still young with so much potential and he was playing really well for the short period he played. There are many that have legit arguments. I for one think McGrady still has a lot in the tank. At least more than his cousin VC. Devin Harris went from all star one year... To injured... To 12w team. I think he's a top 7 when healthy...

Bogut...he went down at the worst possible time and yet his team was still able to push the Hawks to a 7 game series.

I'm really interested to see how he comes back, and how much (if at all), the Bucks build upon their recent success with him.

Hard one, but i`ll go with Oden. This season he has to prove if he`s a bust or a decent/good player.

Make or Break season for Greg Oden...guy could dominate the league defensively if he could ever be healthy

Other: Kobe Bryant...He's played the past 4 seasons @ 60%.

How is it not T Mac? Oden still has a lot of time left in his career to prove himself.
