Hey guys, Some of you may remember that for the last two years I have conducted a poll at the end of the season that had PSD users vote for the top 10 players at each position. It is now that time to vote! I would like to start this up once more considering the NBA season is now over and we can get to this discussion since lots has changed since the start of last season. Please TRY AND VOTE FOR THE BEST PLAYER AND DON'T BE A HOMER. I will leave the poll open for one day and than we can carry on to the next best player at that position. I will add more players after each round. I have also included the results of those last 2 years so everyone can see how much things have changed...Enjoy.

I have skipped the number 1 poll as Howard was the obvious choice. I did the same thing with Lebron James at SF. I am trying to save some time as there is still the top 10 best players in the league list after the centers. Thanks for understanding.

REMEMBER this is based on who is the best player, not the player who has the potential to be the best.

1) Dwight Howard
2) Yao Ming
3) Andrew Bogut
4) Brook Lopez
5) Andrew Bynum
6) Marc Gasol

Sorry for the delay guys, I was moving into my new condo this past weekend and don't have internet as of yet. Here is poll 7. I skipped number 6 because of the tight race between Gasol and Bynum..

Cheers

Al Horford has my vote here. I love his game and his numbers are very solid, especially his advanced statistics.

Lots of choice here. Between Horford, and Jefferson for me. Noah, Perkins and Kaman all took some consideration as well. Decided Horford. He is a little undersized, but can compete with most Center's in this league.I would like to see him moved to PF at some point in his career, but since he's been playing Center, I'm voting for him here.

Noah and Perkins were great defensive options, and would likely slot in here if Horford an Jefferson were playing their natural positions.

You can't just put a guy in just because it was a close race. All those people that voted for Bynum could have voted for someone besides Gasol.

I haven't voted or encouraged voting for Noah until now, he easily has the biggest impact on his team than any of these other players, Noah offensive game is still lacking but he's only going to improve and his defense is tops with rebounds. No I'm not a homer because I know he isn't top 5 but Noah Is the biggest impact player left on the list so I'll say it Jo-no

I would go Kaman Nene and then Noah, becuase I dont beleive for a second that Al horford should be considered a C. he is a PF, who is being forced to play C.

I don't think he's worthy here but I'm suprised at the lack of respect that Nene is getting, he's at the same level as horford and Bargs IMO and better than Perkins by a mile yet he has 0 votes.

Homers????

You may not like it but Horford still plays center and he can certainly hold his own at that position. Personally I dount he ever moves to PF for the rest of his career unless he ends up playing next to Howard or Yao..

Had to go with the caveman his overall game is better than the other choices. Some may do other things better than him but overall like i said he is better

i'm not saying they have to. i just think its ridiculous and its looking like he's losing the 7 spot as well. i can't stand (many) bulls fans as much as the next guy, but c'mon man. this is clearly just hatred towards the bulls. who really cares anyways, i think all of these lists have been severely tainted in one way or another.

edit: the bottom line is that noah has already done more in his BB career than kaman, jefferson, and mark gasol will likely do their entire lives (unless of course they get lucky and signed or traded to the lakers, which is ALWAYS a possibility, LOL)

It isn't hatred towards the Bulls to simply feel that Noah is not the best Gator on the board

I'd take Noah over Kaman too. Jefferson seems to be a bit of a wild card in this poll. Tough one to evaluate. Hasn't been in good situations and recent injury history. Recent trade to Utah make me optimistic his numbers will improve. He is definitely the most offensively talented big on the list, but he isn't really a C.

I got Horford, Jefferson and Noah as the next three, with Perkins/Nene in the final spot. I bet Kaman sneaks in soon though. I've never been a big Kaman fan, but his per game stats make him hard to ignore.

Marc Gasol is way underrated. But not as underrated as Jefferson and Kaman are overrated.

I have

1. Dwight Howard
2. Yao Ming
3. Andrew Bogut
4. Andrew Bynum
5. Greg Oden
6. Al Horford
7. Marc Gasol
8. Joakim Noah
9. Brook Lopez
10. Kendrick Perkins
11. Nene

based off of last yrs stats, it has to be Al Jefferson...
he had some monster 20-20 games

**not that having monster games every now and then is deserving of a top 10 spot
to me, it shows that he is able to take control of a game when he needs to. and that is a quality i love in players

Well I only have him seventh for this reason. But offensively, he is only clearly behind Yao and Dwight.
