Who would you rather build a team around?

Why does this thread involve 1 SF and 2 PG in order to have an indirect comparison??!?!

What?

Well its about which player would you have better chance of building a championship around so position doesn't matter so much as skill set and ability

Not Steve Nash. He failed to win a championship with a prime Dirk and a prime Michael Finley, Prime Amar'e and a Stacked Suns team.

Atleast Jason Kidd took his sorry Nets team to the finals back to back and an ECF.

I was just going to say Nique or Nash, but added in Kidd as well.

Those Sun teams always had a player missing when they were knocked out. Joe Johnson was injured, Amare got suspension.
We never had an injury/suspension free post season when we had Nash/Joe/Marion/Dirk

I'm surprised I'm the only one who picked Nique here.

Jason Kidd and there is no doubt about it. He's one of the top 4 PG to ever play the game of basketball. The guy has averaged a triple double in the playoffs before. He took a last place nets team the year before to an NBA Finals.

He has better court vision than any other player in the history of the NBA...

He has multiple NBA 1st-Team All Defensive selections...

I could go on and on, but this is a clear-cut case for Jason Kidd. Neither of the other two have the same resume.
