haha

Blue Jays claimed RHP Taylor Buchholz off waivers from the Rockies.

It's a bit surprising that the 28-year-old Buchholz made it through waivers and into Toronto's grasp. Sure, he posted an ugly 4.50 ERA and 9/6 K/BB ratio in 10 innings this year for the Rockies, but a few years ago he was regarded as one of the top young setup men in the game. The right-hander will look to turn things around in a new environment.

Solid BP arm. He had a pretty good year last year.

He had a great year before he had the major injury.. He held batter to .188 avg in 2008.

This could be a steal if he regains form

Awesome! Maybe he will lure Clay Buchholz to Toronto somehow eventually.

baseball america was once high on the guy... in '04, they called him the astros top prospect and awarded him 'best control' in the system...

Hopefully he can return to form. A nice low risk pick up

Another reason why I like it is because Frasor, Downs and Gregg may be gone in the off season.

Really like this move helps out the bullpen for next year and if he can put on the numbers from 2008 I would be so happy.

:D

My buddy called me and was CONVINCED that we somehow stole Clay for nothing. I've never heard him so excited in his life lol.

I can't imagine the disappointment when he realized he had the wrong Bucholz lol

Haha, we're excited about blowcocks and buttholz

Hopefully he doesn't pull a BJ Ryan. If he gets back to where he was pre-TJ, this will be a steal!
