It's not close at all. Like at ALL.
Melo is so overrated on here, it's borderline not even funny.

LOL Wade no question

Anthony is a better shooter and has a nice post game for a SF, but Wade can do everything else including defend better.

I think it is a pretty close call. If Melo actually applied himself night in and night out, he would be an amazing player. Problem is that he can become very lazy at times and won't play defense or attack the basket. If he were to play like he did in the playoffs in 08-09 and play both ends with intensity, he would be a great player. But because of that inconsistency, I voted Wade.

Melo isnt that low but barely top 5
1.Lebron
2.Wade
3.Kobe
4.CP3
5.Melo
6.D-Will
7.Duncan
8.Gasol
9.Dirk
10.Durant
11.Howard

You say Durant is overrated, Durant and Howard are the most overrated players in the NBA today. Durant is a pure jumpshooter, and Howard is an amazing shot blocker, who is VERY dominating, but he has absolutlely no offensive game, and he only scores off of 1.dunks or 2.tip-ins. Because of this IMO they are this low.

I respect you and like you as a poster, but he isn't really close to CP3, or really Deron either. He is a talented scorer who shoots a lot. Everything else he does is average for an NBA starter.

I have it:

1. Lebron James
2. Dwyane Wade
3. Dwight Howard
4. Kevin Durant
5. Kobe Bryant
6. Chris Paul
7. Tim Duncan
8. Deron Williams
9. Dirk Nowitzki
10. Yao Ming
11. Brandon Roy
12. Steve Nash
13. Carmelo Anthony
14. Pau Gasol

It's based on a players' overall impact on games. If you disagree, say why. And "rings duh" doesn't suffice.
