durant but you cant really compare them...howard when you need a big man with great d and durant if you need a scorer from the perimeter

If I was starting a franchise i'd take Dwight.

I think an amazing defensive pivot is more important to a championship team than an amazing perimeter scorer.

If I had a solid all round team, i'd rather add Durant.

As tempting as it is to take the big man who can be the defensive anchor for any team, Durant is a once in a lifetime talent.

So Durant.

They are both vastly overrated on PSD, but I would pick Durant because Howard is just dominating. Howard blows on offense, while Durant is the best scorer in the league today. Howard is an amazing shot blocker tho.

howard. he has lead his teams to the finals, is the best defender in the nba, and is by far the best center. his offensive game is still in progress, but he can still get 20 any night. KD is way overrated imo. he is a great scorer, but cant play a lick of D. everyone syas how great he played against the Lakers, he shot 35%. it is easier to become a great scorer than a great defender. if howard gets a solid postgame he could be the best player in the nba

1.Howard is not the best defender in the league, he is the best shot blocker.
2.offense game? What offensive game? He can get 20 because hes so dominating, doesnt mean that he has an offensive game
3.They are both vastly overrated
4. wow dude, this is what im talking about when I say Howard is overrated. No way is he anywhere near the player that Lebron, Wade, Kobe are, who are top 3 in the league. Hell, I also think Melo, Durant, CP3, D-Will, Duncan, Gasol, and Dirk are all better than Howard, and I may be missing a few.

Definitely Durant. Maybe if Howard was more reliable as an offensive weapon.

You can always find other scorers. You cannot always find great defensive centers. Nothing could be more important than a solid defensive 5.

Dwight Howard
