Coach K's comments

Although I hate Rondo's guts since he is a Celtic, most Laker players know he is a phenomenal player.

Yep, this is old news. Some fans don't seem to accept it though for some reason.

"He said he wanted to settle some personal matters in the US and we respected his wishes,” Krzyzewski said.

“He is a player who was dedicated to preparations and is a good guy. He remains in the pool of players from which to choose our team for the 2012 Olympic Games.”

OMG HE'S SAVING FACE!

WHAT A *****!

HE KNEW HE WAS GETTING CUT!

Yup, Rondo's t-shirt doesn't lie.

Now, if they lose in FIBA, we can blame it on Coach K letting Rondo go.

Coach K wanted guards who can shoot which was something rondo was not. He should take that remark with him every time he hits the gym to use as motivation to develop a consistent jump shot. Really, this the only knock on rondo's game.

He said he wanted to work on his jump shot & FTs in the US and we respected his wishes, Krzyzewski said.

that'S how it must have been

It's inevitable. Might as well close it now to be honest.

Rondo will get fouled about 95% of the time he tries to attack the rim. His deficiencies at the foul line was exposed during the Finals.

And Team USA being as vulnerable at the frontline as it already is, they're not looking to add more holes and potential weaknesses.

the hate in this forum towards rose is becoming ridiculous and basically self-imposed by now among non-bulls fans, all b/c of poor posters creating threads about him every day

this is going nowhere. Rondo officially walked away. There is no debating this. The argument of Rose vs Rondo will be played out over the next 10 years.
