Make a case for who you choose. Also who has the better future?

Love A-Jack
But got to go with Heyward.

I think A-Jack going to end up being a very good player. While Heyward's going to be a star.

I only thing I could argue with that is Heyward has been injured and may become injury prone in the future. Also, AJ doesn't hit as many Homeruns cause of the ballpark but I know he has the most multi hit games for rookies.

Heyward's talent is just far too great to choose otherwise, and it's no knock on Jackson.

The only thing I think is that Austin Jackson is just getting not enough respect. There basically the SAME exact player to be honest. But A Jack's numbers are better right now. In the future to maybe even develop some power he will be even better than Heyward.

Heyward has a line of .269/.381/.459.

Jackson is hitting .306/.358/.408.

So Heyward gets on base more and hits for more power. How are they the same? And how are his numbers better?

The only thing Jackson has is that defensively he's better, but that doesn't make up for a significant difference in offensive value. Not to mention Heyward's ceiling is higher.

Like I stated he can still develop power and keeping his much higher average. Also look at the total hits and multi hit games. Heyward just doesnt show up every single night. He will just draw a couple walks, so what? how about the 7 triples he has?

Hmm a 23 year old leading the AL in strikeouts with a .422 BABIP or a 21 year old rookie with a .370 wOBA.... Tough choice.

What's really unbelievable is that we've already had a thread about this:

I see we had one Homer that voted for Jackson. This isn't even a contest. Hayward is going to be one of the next big things.
