Clearly the Miami Heat - for both answers. You don't need a thread to figure this out my man.

^ yep, miami has alot to prove and alot to lose this year. anything less than a title will be considered a failure given their huge offseason and the pressure coming from the national media. given that this team came together this summer, it could take time for them to adjust to their new roles. they will definitely need to have guys like chalmers step up like rondo did in '08 in order to win a title.

Miami has a lot to prove but they don't have much to lose because none of them are getting old plus they're gonna be there for a long time.

Boston has a lot to lose because I'm pretty sure this will be their last year with a legit shot.

Championship(s) are a foregone conclusion for the Heat.. it's a matter of when not if. I think the team that has the most to prove and lose is the Knicks. Walsh wants to win sooner than later.. picks were spent, players traded.. alright, lets see where this is heading.

As far as legacies go, Lebron and the Heat have the most to win/lose [for now at least. If they go on a 3 for 5 ship run following that, all will be forgotten]. If the Lakers or Celtics beat them this year, the media and haters alike (and the hate might be warranted, we'll have to wait and see) will have a field day with them.

But you're right, as far as championship windows go - the #2 answer for both situations is the Celtics, followed by the Lakers.

The Heat have the most to Prove, and the Media is going to make it like they have the most to lose also. In reality its going to be Celts because their getting older and older.

The Heat would be an easy answer for both. But I'll go with the Orlando Magic for most to prove. They need to show they can get back to the finals again and prove they can fight with the Heat in the East.

Its The Miami Heat. 3 Superstars on there team and they have solid players around them. Lebron also promised them Multiple Championships

Obvious answer is the Heat but they have the longevity to make up for it if they fail this season.

honestly I think its miami for both.they have a target on their back. this was even a topic at the hall. and if miami does anything aside from win a ring its a HUGE disappointment.

The Blazers have something to prove to everyone, that they can stay healthy and are a real contender with a healthy team.

I would think Dallas would also like to prove that last season's playoff's were a fluke

how come nobodys saying the knicks have the most to lose. if amar'e gets hurt (god forbid), or if they just dont mesh. knicks will be in rebuilding mode again. everyones gettin fired. (.......then 4 years till amares contract expires..) thats not what i think will happen:D; just surprised that nobody else has said it yet.

Easily the Heat. The need to make the Finals this year. Anything else wouldbe abject and utter failure for the owners. And why not? You re-sign Wade, sign Bosh, and then sign Lebron....You would be entitled to want yuor moneys worth. Thats why I hope the Lakers meet them in the Finals, and beat them. I would love to see the reaction of Lebron and his band of merry men. But then again, would I like Gilbert to get the satisfaction after his actions? .... That conversation is for another time I think :p
