Ya, I've seen this before. Pretty wild. The kid is a baller. I hope he grows to over 6 feet tall. Should be good.

I remember the kid was on Ellen and he already received a letter from UCLA. It wasn't a recruitment letter (since its illegal to recruit anyone before their junior year of HS) but it basically said, he would be hearing from them.

The guy is incredibly skilled handling the ball, seems to have a strong work ethic, and is a freak of nature internally and on the track speed wise. All this and his ability to make it big will still depend on his height. Basketball is so unfair, I hope the kid has a giant growth spurt.

every athlete has a big growth spurt.. it wouldnt shock me if he came out to be 6'7 at 21..

tyrus thomas was a guard in high school..
anthony randolph was like 6'6 in high school..
he's goina be playing all his life and runs and jumps alot.. thats helps a TON with growing because your always stretching your body.. he's got 9 years too grow.. 9..

Pat Riley would get him to sign with them for cheaper.

if that is true that is only 15 seconds off the world record pace, established by a grown man who runs marathons for a living. I would have to see that with my own eyes to believe it was true.

Not really, a good high school track athlete runs a mile around 4:40-5:10...its not world record pace its just really damn good. Its not impossible if the lung thing is true. Watch the video, it says he runs it in 4:50

4:50 is much more realistic and thanks for pointing that out since I didn't notice.

When the last post I responded to said 4 minutes and a few second...I was VERY SKEPTICAL.
