I go with the Skyhook. Even Magic is famous for doing it.

there is nothing on earth you can do to stop the skyhook once in motion from Kareem. Just hope it doesn't go in

The sky hook was badass, but the dream shake was like 5 moves, each with three or four counter-moves.

Sky-hook was virtually impossible to block - and he could hit it with ease. Probably the greatest move in NBA history.

Somehow I'm less impressed with a 7'2" player shooting over everyone than with a 6'10" (maybe) player simply facing everyone up and making them his *****. Don't get me wrong. Both are in the annals of all-time NBA great moves.

I'm 5'4 so when I play ball it's usally against people alot taller than me (I'm talking maybe a foot taller or sometimes more) and when I skyhook (or attempt it) it's
never been blocked...... So I'd have to say the skyhook

How often does your skyhook actually go in??? That's an incredibly tough shot to make and Kareem was doing it everywhere on the floor. I've tried messing with it before in practice but never in a real game.

As for the question, I really can't say one is more unstoppable than the other because they were both pretty damn unstoppable. I will say the Dream Shake was a a lot sweeter to watch.

Edit: holy crap that video has the only footage of NBA Wilt not wearing number 13. He is wearing number 54 at 0:54

IMO the 2 greatest centers of all time. Now to the question...

Dream Shake... I say this because a smart defender could get Kareem out of a sky hook. I know its harder said then done, but if you had to absolutely force him to his left you could do that in theory, but obviously Kareem was mutli-faceted, the guy can do more than just a sky hook.

Hakeem's dream shake must be the most frustrating thing to guard ever. Imagine a point guard's quickness in a 7 footer, mixed in with a soccer player background, and a nice touch around the rim with the ability to shoot a fadeaway from 15-18 feet. It was ridiculous watching him play. Never have I seen anything like it, and really I don't think we ever will. He was basically Kevin McHale but a superior athlete who was much quicker and better overall shooter.

David Robinson got owned by it... when he won his MVP, everybody looked at Robinson as the top dog, best big man in the game. Then comes Hakeem in '95's playoffs and absolutely obliterates him. I've never seen an MVP get dominated like that on his home court.
