Mavericks guard Caron Butler told Sporting News that the Heat, given the team's makeup with the free-agent signings of Dwyane Wade(notes), LeBron James(notes) and Chris Bosh(notes), could win 73, besting the Bulls' mark by one.

"When I think of the Miami Heat now," Butler said, "I think ... history. They could do it." [...]

"That's as much talent assembled on one team as I've ever seen," said Butler, who is entering his ninth season in the league.

I predict disappointment for them this season, just a feeling.

Awesome! I wonder what Omar Casspi of the Kings thinks of the Heats chances. Let me look it up and Ill be back in a while with a thread.

honestly, who cares. I think there are a few teams that are more interested in winning 16 games later next year, right before the summer starts.

i predict caron butler will kill tons of possessions this year. he'll catch a lob from kidd at the rim, dribble it out and pop a fade-away jumper. with 18 on the clock.

Omar Casspi, that should be a good thread. But it won't be NBA related unless you find an article related to Omri Casspi:pity:

Btw, Caron Butler is near ********. Not just for this he's really ****ing stupid, probably one of the dumbest in the league.

I hear that the ball boy for the Pacers thinks Miami wins 71. Should I make a new thread?

Scott Hastings and Jon Sundvold want to rejoin Heat as they say they will win 82 games. New thread?

They will never win more than 70 games. They have great players but not one of them is Michael Jordan and frankly not even close.

That's how irrelevant that guy is. I don't even know his name. But we might as well have a thread on what he thinks the Heat will do since everyone else gets to put their two cents in
