The Heat are going to be involved in their share of blowouts, so it's possible that Lebron/Bosh/Wade may actually play the least MPG average of their career. Just something to think about concerning their stats.

Do you guys realise that a teams average ppg is not the total of players averages?
There are other factors, like injuries, that come into play when looking at season averages.

A quick look at a the Lakers last season shows that if you add the top 8 averages up you get 104.9ppg, which is more than the team ppg.

Sorry to hear that you're a Wolves fan lol. I'll always support the Raptors, the only problem is that the greedy TV companies in Canada don't play their games on regular cable, so most games play on channels I don't have, and I'm not about to pay extra to watch a team that isn't gonna impress.

lets hope Johnson and Calderon get that.......but as I have it.....thats 92ppg combined......Jack is good for 10ppg? that's 102ppg......by giving Johnson 15, Calderon 13-17.......then that'd be at least 110-114 ppg.....unless of course I take a couple points away from each of the other players to take Toronto down to a more realistic 100ppg avg and give those points to Johnson and Calderon.......but if i did that there would be the complaint that Deronzen only 8ppg? Kleiza only 10ppg? annnd so on. Also....its gonna be a bad year for Toronto......hopefully I have under estimated them so that when they do better than I originally thought I have sommmthin to be happy about for the season.

He is a scorer, down in PHX he was dropping 30 and 40 at times. He won't do that down in Toronto but I could see him averaging 15 a game.

chalmers should average more assists or more points to be the starting pg

He started 2 seasons ago and averaged 10ppg on .42% on the field. He's barely going to be able to get any shots and with Lebron and Wade he will never be the primary playmaker on the court

To be honest, I'm not sure about the Pistons. The guards and wing players are way too hard to figure out.

Stuckey, Gordon, Rip, Prince, Bynum, McGrady, Jerebko, Daye, and White. I have no idea how that would work out for minutes.

Way too many people arrogantly assuming that their team's starting 5 players are all going to average double figures or 4 starters averaging double figures and one player averaging 9 points with the starting 5 scoring close to 85points. Then the bench having two double figure scorers and one player averaging 9 points? For example, I really doubt the Raptors are going to be anywhere near 110 PPG, more likely they are closer to 90 PPG. I saw more Raptor fans do this than anyone else but someone from every team did it pretty much. I'm not attacking anyone, just my opinion, I really don't think any team will have a starting 5 who all average double figures points.

PG: Derek Fisher 6 PPG, 2 RPG, 2.6 APG
SG: Kobe Bryant 26 PPG, 6 RPG, 5.4 APG 1.6 SPG
SF: Ron Artest 11 PPG, 5 RPG, 3.5 APG 1.3 SPG
PF: Pau Gasol 20 PPG, 11.5 RPG, 3.2 APG 1.8 BPG--I see him getting a full 20 this year, instead of the usual 18, 19 points he averages every year.
C: Andrew Bynum 14 PPG, 9 RPG, 1 APG 1.7 BPG--I want to be optimistic and think that Bynum will average a double-double but I don't think it will happen this year. Within the next couple years, assuming he stays healthy, it will happen.

Lamar Odom 9 PPG, 9.5 RPG, 4 APG, 1 SPG, .8 BPG--I want to put him at a double-double because he had 10.8 PPG, 9.8 RPG last year but I don't think that will happen either, he'll get close though. I think he will improve on APG this year though.
Steve Blake 6 PPG, 2 RPG, 4.5 APG
Matt Barnes 6 PPG, 4 RPG, 1.5 APG

Thats 97 PPG (if I counted right) with the first 8, add a couple more players and I think the total for the team is around 104 PPG.
