The Bobcats have had an encouraging summer, renewing 91% of their season tickets while selling 1,575 new season tickets for 2010-11.
Both of those numbers put them in the top-10 in the league, a testament to the franchise's first-ever playoff appearance, as well as majority owner Michael Jordan's more hands-on approach. The team also added 40 more corporate sponsors and hired a booking company to fill out their schedule of non-NBA events.

This thread has legs!

The Warriors were top 7 in Beer sales last summer, in case that was something we want to discuss?...

Ahhh off-season, end already.

Haha, I'm glad I made this thread. It kept you busy for 30 seconds or so. It was all worth it. :p

In all seriousness though, I think we're all dying inside waiting for the season to start.

its because all their other pro teams suck the same thing happened with the panthers in 03 and with the canes in 06. if 2/3 of their teams suck then they go to the team that is playing the best

A) The Panthers sell out every game.
B) They make the playoffs more consistently than most NFL teams.
C) No one cares about the Canes outside of Raleigh, the Bobcats and Panthers have a better state wide following.
