Anybody care to actually back up their one word answers? I'd be curious to see why people think Battier is still the best wing defender (if indeed he ever was), or why they would consider Duncan over Dwight at this point (there are arguments). It's not even a poll, start a conversation...

i think most people would say battier because the "JOB" he did on kobe by holding him to 40 points lol....most nba fans doesnt pay much attention to defense its all offense nowdays.

How about not.
The only reason he is DPOY is because of his offensive game as well. He's a very good help and weakside defender, one of the best actually. But he has work to do on his man to man defense.
And people are crazy if they think Rondo is the best as well.

Calderon
Calderón and Bargnani would be the ultimate duo! :laugh2:

In all seriousness though, I would say Dwight Howard. Joakim Noah and Josh Smith are up there too.
