Who are the players you guys think from second round that will turn into all starts or just a very good starter for a long time?
Who are some players like that?

Ex : Manu Ginobili - 2nd round (28th pick, 57th overall) O_O
Ex: Michael Redd - 2nd round (14th pick, 43rd overall)
Ex: Gilbert Arenas - 2nd round (2nd pick, 30th overall)
Ex: Mehmet Okur - 2nd round (9th pick, 37th overall)
Ex: Carlos Boozer -2nd round (6th pick, 34th overall)
Ex: Monta Ellis - 2nd round (10th pick, 40th overall)

Any new rookies that look like they jump out at you? :eyebrow:

You missed out Ginobili in your examples.

I gotta go with Lance Stephenson and Willie Warren... I thought both of those guys were worthy of a first round pick.

Lance Stephenson - First round talent if not for the attitude problems in college and run-in with the law in high school. NYC all time scoring champ I think.

Jeremy Lin - Impressed a LOT of people during Summer League play. Very high basketball IQ, and very tall for a PG. Teams were actually bidding on an undrafted player!

Not from this year, but Jonas Jerebko was a second rounder. And Terrico White is too athletic not to at least be an energy player off the bench.

if hassan whiteside can build muscle and keep his head straight i think he can be productive

also luke harrongody can be a very productive player...i can see him following into an exact mold of big baby

Lance Stephenson should be pretty good. He will get a good amount of run behind Darren Collison.

Caracter and Ebanks who both just got signed by the Lakers seem to have a lot of potential as well, but they probably won't get much run this season.

Suns' Gani Lawal has potential to be a great contributor in coming seasons.

Lance Stephenson - kid's built like a Mack truck, and he's going to play some PG.

Hassan Whiteside - up until draft day people were still talking about him potentially in the lottery. If falling to the second round humbled him at all, he's going to be a beast.

Jeremy Lin (undrafted) - Teams were actually in a bidding war over him after Summer League play. 6'5" PG/SG with high basketball IQ and amazing court vision.

Magnum Rolle - Project big man. Still pretty raw but can jump out of the building and shoot out to 16ft. You won't hear his name too often this year, but in 3 years he'll cash in for just under a mid-level deal somewhere.
