This draft was stacked with players, I think this draft class will have the most sucess since the 2003 draft.

2009
Blake Griffin
Tyreke Evans
DeMar Derozan
Terrence Williams
BrandoN Jennings
James Harden
Ricky Rubio- if he ever comes to the NBA
Johnny Flynn
Jrue Holiday
Ty Lawson
Stephen Curry

It could be one of the best years ever for Point Guards.

Not even close in my opinion. 2008 draft > 2009 draft.

2005 Draft hands down.

Deron Williams, Chris Paul, Andrew Bogut, Danny Granger, David Lee, Andrew Bynum + more.

+1

Even though rookies in basketball tend to produce early, you still have to wait a couple of years before you determine where it ranks among past drafts. The top 3 (Grif, Thabeet and Harden) really haven't done anything, along with Rubio and Hill.

well there are at least 5 potencial all stars

evans
curry
jenning
rubio
griffin

and then there are a lot of other solid players like lawson, collison, derozan, flynn and so on...
could be the best and deepest pg class ever (yes i think evans+curry+jennings+lawson+collison+flynn+holiday +rubio can be better than cp3+dwill+felton+robinson)

I do agree about the depth thing

Not really.
2003 is better, 2005 is better, 2008 is better and you can make the case for 07 if Oden can stay healthy.

2008 had A LOT more talent:

Derrick Rose
Michael Beasley (although he hasn't panned out yet, still could turn into a star)
OJ Mayo
Russell Westbrook
Kevin Love
Danilo Gallinari
Eric Gordon
Brook Lopez
Anthony Randolph
Robin Lopez
Marreese Speights
Roy Hibbert
Javale McGee
JJ Hickson
Courtney Lee
Nicolas Batum
George Hill

most draft classes are good after the 1st yr cuz u see how the players do in their rookie seasons and think if they did well this yr in the future theyll be great even though that is not always the case

2004 Draft was better also

DH12
Iggy
Gordon
Deng
Big Al
Josh Smith
JR Smith
Jameer
Devin Harris
Okafor
Ariza
Kevin Martin

Thats pretty good and also Tony Allen, Varejao, and Vujacic

But 2009 is NO WHERE NEAR 2003

2008 draft class is pretty nasty.

But 09 has potential. Steph Curry and Tyreke Evans had a great rookie campaign but its going to depend on how guys like Rubio, Griffin and Derozan develop.
