View Full Version : What player in the NBA do you want to reach their potential?

LTBaByyy

And who do you see them being like in the next few years?

Mine is Roddy Buckets! He has a lot of hype and shows the potential

I hope he pulls through and become the next rondo

Stephen Curry -- I don't even know what that potential is exactly: But it's probably the ultimate hybrid of Steve Nash and Reggie Miller.

Serge Ibaka -- Any PF who's athletic enough to dunk from the foul line http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MkxeAUJezP4 and block everything in sight is a potential that I want to see fulfilled.

Anthony Morrow: His potential is "the greatest pure shooter in NBA history". I'd like to see that fulfilled, even if it's for the ****ing Nets (no offense Nets fans, but that was my boy).

Greg Oden -- I think he has about three years until osteoporosis hits, so he'd better get on it.

Every other center -- I want the big man back.

Mike F'ing Beasley Needs Gotta DoIt This Year. I remember playing with him up Run N Shoot up in Maryland and playing him in AAU all the time. I always thought he would be better then KD cause Beasley was stronger and killing in high school in a way that no one was doing in the area, Not Even KD was. KD lived up to the hype, shoot he bout to rule the NBA over Wade, Melo, and LBJ when Kobe retire. Come On Beasley You Got DC tatted on your arm, you gotta do better then what you doing my guy. He kills when Wade not playing but when Wade is back its like he is lost. But we'll see what happens.

There were somewhat recent rumors that he was trying to get back into the NBA, but I didn't see if anything had come of that.

------------------------

I still think people are sleeping on Ty Lawson. He's slotted for more playing time this season, including more minutes on the floor at the same time as Billups (who will play the 2 in those situations). With a lineups of:

Lawson
Billups (or Smith or Afflalo)
Melo
Harrington
Melo

...Ty's gonna be racking up assists like a madman, and when he shoots his looks are gonna be wide open.

first quarter of the 08-09 season, the kid was working like a beast (guess that's what happens when you find out that guy #1 on your team wants you traded). if he could return to that form, just imagine all sorts of problems the lakers could give any team.

as for kevin, sure, he's awfully scary right now but a little weight added would make him a more formidable assignment for the defense.

Anthony Randolph - dude has a highass ceiling. Big Q whether or not he'll reach it and become an all-star, or just bust.

Anthony Morrow - arguably the best spot-up shooter in the NBA. I want him to live up to become the best shooter. I don't care if it's for the ****ing Nets, though I'm still pissed GS didn't have enough $$$ to resign him.

Stephen Curry - who knows if he reached his potential yet. He showed signs of greatness every month, especially in March and April.

Brandon Wright - hated the J-rich for Brandon Wright trade since Day 1. Was injury prone for 2 straight seasons, hopefully he should establish to become the next KG. KG or bust.
