When a non blue jay fan thinks about the jays imo they think bout Vernon. So is he the face of the franchise??
I personally think so. He is the most identified blue jay now, does anyone agree??

As of late, Jose Bautista has been gaining the most attention.

the jays seem to be pushing romero, hill, marcum.... watch their commercials.. wells is made to look like just another guy.. i don't think they want to draw attention to how much he makes in correlation with his medicore play over the last few seasons..

Bautista is drawing the fans right now.

Trading him could be a bit of a PR nightmare.

Roy Halladay is the face of the franchise.
