Whats your guess?

I hate to say this because I am an LA fan, but my money is on Sacramento. Everybody is sleeping on Tyreke. The guy got cut in team USA. I think he is a superstar in the making.

no one is sleeping on Evans... He got cut due to too much depth at the guard position. but to answer your question, kings warriors and grizzlies.

The Kings.

Tyreke, DMC, Thompson, Casspi, Greene, Whiteside. If that core can stay together and fulfill it's potential they're a playoff team in a season or two.

FYP.

I like the Grizzlies mention. Not sure about the Warriors - aren't they trying to blow it up, trade Ellis and the overpaid bigman whose name I always forget, and build around Curry and Lee? Give them another year, imo. Great moves changing the ownership and getting Lee though - that'll be the start.

I like what the Bucks have done.

Also OKC, obviously. Moving on up from that 8th seed.

Also, as a homer, I think Philly will improve under Doug Collins.

Oops, forgot the main team I was going to mention: Chicago. They'll definitely be above the 8th seed they had last year, and will be fighting it out with the Bucks for the Central Division and a top 4 seed.

I don't know if they're considered 'young', especially adding Boozer, but their best player has played two seasons, and they have a 37 year old, a 29 year old, a 28 year old, a 26 year old, and 7 guys who are 25 or less - so that seems pretty young to me.

The Clippers should be pretty solid. At least they are on paper. Gomes,Foye,Aminu,Griffen are 4 players that will get significant PT this year that werent there last year.

Are you talking about the biggest difference between this coming seasons wins to last seasons wins??

If so definitely the Nets. They have a chance to win 20+ more than last year.

How is everyone sleeping on him are you f'kin serious? The kid won rookie of the year give me a break nobody is sleeping on evans and ive seen many people pick them to get the 8th seed in the west.

Homer alert!!!!! Knicks..

All jokes aside, Kings and I like the Philly future core of holiday and turner.... Minny prob has the youngest squad but I don't think their potential won't be seen in the triangle

All of you are forgetting the Blazers, they are one of the younger teams in the league. With the exceptions of Dre and Camby they are all under 26! Really though the Kings will be good, they got a complete line-up.

sargon21
07-31-2010, 02:11 PM
raptors, no way... they are going to be at the bottom of the league
memphis.. should be fun to watch
clippers.. should be improved, if everyone stays healthy, which is a big IF for the clippers
nets.. can't be any worse right?
warriors.. should be improved with the addition of lee, but still prob won't be a playoff team
kings.. hmm i see them as being able to compete for a playoff spot if they were in the east, but in the west they'd likely have to win 48+ games to get in, and i think thats a tall order for them
thunder.. should be at the top of the west 1-4 at least

Clippers are one of the youngest teams in the league actually. And I agree, they'll at the least be flirting with .500 i think

The Kings.. they seem really over stacked with big guys.. Landry, Cousins, Thompson, Dalembert...who am I missing? If Cousins plays good i really think they'll make some noise amd i wouldn't be suprised if they move Thompson or Landry to pick up another wing player..

The Nets..they can only get better with Avey pushing them..I think Terrence takes a step towards Stardom this year..

How do you see the Knicks?

Wilson Chandler
Danilo Gallinari
Toney Douglas
Anthony Randolph
maybe the rookie Landry Fields could have some good games(he's had a good summer league)

Hard to define young team... Do the Knicks count? CLippers?
I don't see sac improving that much this year. I dont see cousins making that much of an impact in his first year. Clippers...hard to say how blake griffin comes back off the injury to start out, could be mid season before he starts to play well. Warriors? possibly the biggest win improvement from last year to this year, adding david lee and they were descimated by injuries last year, so if they stay healthy, my vote is them then the knicks, gonna be difficult for either to make the playoffs though.

Nets have a chance to improve by 20+. it will be hard for others to counter that.
I also like the kings

The Kings will be good next year. The Nets will probably be the most improved. I'm hoping that the Clippers can finally put it together this year. Grizzlies will be a force. And I think that the Twolves may surprise people

I also think the Knicks will be MUCH improved with Felton, Amare, Randolph and Galinnari.

Memphis is also a strong team..but I think the Nets might sneak up on some folks

any team that only won 12 games has a chance to improve by 20 wins. lol

but in all seriousness, expect OKC to continue their success. green and westbrook are in their contract years and with the lockout looming, expect them to compete for a new contract.

the kings will also look to gain ground. nice young core of guys but im not expecting a huge turnaround from last year. most of their youth are bigs and they will need more time to develop.

all indications are that the raps are going to floor a truly uptempo run and gun team for the first time. though they will have the speed and athleticism, defense is still an issue with this team and with no 20-10 man to rely on, they will look to the likes of bargnani and derozan to step up their games.

Kevin Love, Michael Beasley, Jonny Flynn, Wesley Johnson (Ricky Rubio).

Call me a homer, and this might be a year early, but that's a pretty darn young/upside type roster.

I hope Beasley turns it around for you guys. He could turn the whole wolves franchise IF used properly.

I think its the Grizzlies alot of people are sleeping on them but they were pretty good last year. they were one game away from .500 they are all good players on the starting lineup and they are starting to mesh. plus they acquired tony allen who showed a lot of promise plus he's a GREAT bench player. I dont see them being a threat but i definitely see them making a playoff push.

naw i disagree the thread is most improved not best. i dont see them improving next season that much because they were already so good. imo they will get a little better but even getting a little better than last season is moving leaps and bounds. but they are already in a good position and plus druant was already the leading scorer so how much can they really improve? i just dont see much room for improvement from this team like in other teams posted.

If they move past the first round or even get to the finals, then that would be the most improved young team. That could be a reality if they get a big man....a true 7 footer who can actually make things uncomfortable for the Laker's bigs, not Kristic who realistically cannot match up against Bynum and Gasol.

OKC by FAR!!!

The best young unkonwn power forward is SERGE IBAKA.

Perfect compliment to the scorers that they have.

They also went big this draft with Cole Aldrich, Ryan Reid, Tibor Pleiss and athletic Latavious Williams. Not too mention they have BJ Mullens who was a top 3 player out of high school.

One of this big guys pans out see ya later.

They made the playoffs and Westbrook, Harden, Green and Durant are still getting better and their average age is 22.

Add some mean
