WEST

PG: Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant
SF: Kevin Durant
PF: Tim Duncan (Dirk is the best PF today but Duncan always gets the nod)
C: Pau Gasol (he's a PF but no one else is really eligible. Yao might not be healthy enough or HOU won't let him play)

EAST

PG: Rajon Rondo
SG: Dwayne Wade
SF: LeBron James
PF: Chris Bosh (no he isn't even close to deserving but All Star is more about fans than talent)
C: Dwight Howard

for all u guys saying the east will smash the west then u are dumb as rocks!!!!!!!!!!! last year the east won by only 2 points and thats even putting into consideration that kobe bryant, chris paul and brandon roy did not play, it was also deron williams and kevin durants first all-star game so they were nervous....
trust me the west will easily beat the east:cool:

WEST
PG-Chris Paul/Deron Williams
SG-Kobe Bryant/Brandon Roy
SF-Carmelo Anthony/Kevin Durant
PF-Tim Duncan/Dirk Nowitzki
C-Pau Gasol/Yao Ming
WILD CARDS:STEPHEN CURRY/then a toss-up, either between S.NASH,TY EVANS,R.WESTBROOK,OR A.BROOKS (only 1 will claim the spot)

the west will have the 3 best scorers in the game in MELO,DURANT & KOBE!!! THEN WITH CP3 & D-WILL RUNNING THE POINT....ENUFF SAID, ALSO NOWITZKI IS A GREAT SCORING BIG MAN AND DUNCAN & GASOL ARE GREAT REBOUNDERS!!!!!!!!!

EAST
PG-RAJON RONDO/DERRICK ROSE
SG-DWAYNE WADE/JOE JOHNSON
SF-LEBRON JAMES/PAUL PIERCE
PF-AMARE STOUDEMIRE/CHRIS BOSH
C-DWIGHT HOWARD/ANDREW BOGUT (if healthy,if not then/BROOK LOPEZ)
WILD CARDS: GERALD WALLACE/DANNY GRANGER

esewicked13
07-30-2010, 01:53 AM
the east barely won last year....and by 2 points
the west did not have...kobe bryant (best player in nba)
brandon roy (3rd best sg in league)
cp3 (best pg in league when healthy)
and the west still only lost by 2...if u ask me thats pretty damn good!!!!!!

I think ledouche still starts, theres still a ton of people over seas you just dont give a damn what he did, and then there's the 50 million new heat fans all born at 9:22 pm, july 8th, 2010.... and all the wade fans who are now sticking up for the queen even though they probably hated him before they heard they had a chance to land him. so ya lbj still gets the start for sure, not that i think he doesnt cause he does...damn you lebron

Actually, Avery was the main reason why DH was traded from Dallas. He and Harris did not like each other for some reason I do not know why. So you could argue his production goes down but maybe the conflict is long past gone.

Even if Durant did outvote Melo your crazy if you think Gasol is gonna outvote Melo, Melo was second to only Kobe last yr in votes in the west.

The voting just says forwards, not power fowards.

More than likely it will be

Paul
Kobe
Durant
Melo
Yao

First of all, Rose will be the starting PG for two reasons; he's the better player and he's the more popular player. Let's not forget that the fans still have a vote.

Secondly, I wouldn't be surprised if Garnett doesn't make the team. If he does it'll be because of the fan vote (homer votes like with A. I. last year) or injuries. He is clearly on the decline at this point in his career and with the additions of Amare and Boozer in the East, he's no longer in the top three at his position in the East.

I'm not saying any of this to be a hater or a homer. That's just the way I see things.
