they will be a fun team
i think they will because of the howard signing and in the end i think that puts them over then bobcats by just alittle bit
and also they will not trade arenas yes i seen the trades trying to rip off the wizards but heres the thing ted leonsis is not like abe pollin (sorry i said that abe rest in peace). Ted is also the owner of the caps and won't trade key players unless he gets key players and not ripoffs.
John Wall will be beast this year and they have alot of young talent this year like blatche, mcgee plus this booker kid look pretty good.
and last of all look at the bench hinrich,yi,al thorton they have some good pieces.

now thats my reason but do you see them making the playoffs

John Wall is really going to live up to his hype in order for them to have any chance at playoffs. The Wiz lack a post presence and that is the reason I got them at 10th or 11th.

Nah. Even if JW lives up to hype they're still not ready. Give them 2-3 more years and I think they'll contend for playoff seeding.

Look don't get me wrong, he is a nice player but he is not there yet. You got a young team up and coming, in a few years you guys could be up there in the East. When I said post presence, I didn't mean a big body to get boards and blocks. Someone with post moves.

... Just compare the rosters and you'll see why they're two different situations.

And Summer League = Regular Season? If so we'd have a lot of D-League and Summer League superstars in the NBA.

J-bay, sig bet that the Wiz won't make the playoffs. Now I do think they will be good in a couple years, but Blatche and McGee simply won't be nearly effective enough to be a solid front court. J Howard is over the hill, and frankly, Hinrich isn't good enough to be a starter. Yea Arenas is there, but can he really be a good SG beside the ball dominant Wall?

Oh and McGee will not be close to D Howard. Maybe a guy like Hakeem Warrick, but not Howard

Sig bet that they don't make the 'offs?

no i'm not sig betting you have a few flaws in your statement
1. hinrich is on the bench
2.arenas can pass the ball and wall makes his teamates better

and i don't bet

I mentioned #1, and #2 is a homer opinion. Everything someone says to you gets rejected, so if you think your the only one that's right, why not put a sig bet on it? Don't give me the "I don't bet" bit because it's not like you would have to put anything ridiculous in your sig. If your going to shut everyone else's opinions down, put a bet on it.

i got the wiz grabbing the 7th or 8th seed, flip saunders is a very good reg season coach, and will get wall, mcgee, hinrich, howard, and blatche 2 play to the best of there ability, im a heat fan, but i must admit, these guys have some nice pieces, there not a serious threat, but the'll be fun to watch, and will be good enough 2 grab a lower seed.

I was about to post that. I see alot of similarities between the two teams. I could see the Wizards having a very similar season. I think they have a shot at the 8th seed.

Whatever just keep on being a homer and telling everyone off that disagrees with you. Your just trying to ignore the truth.

Oh and Arenas is not a "key" guy, pretty sure the franchise just got put on Wall's back.

I think they have a shot but it will be a real close race for those last eastern playoff spots since teams like the Knicks and Nets also have some good young talent now.

I think the biggest thing it depends on is if Javale really steps up this year. I see Wall and Arenas doing their thing just fine but Javale needs to own the paint for them to go the playoffs.

I don't for a second seeing Arenas letting Wall take the team over.

When Arenas was playing well he did everything possible to get more attention, I don't see anything changing.

As far as play-offs, who knows, anyone has a chance before the season starts.

That was pre-injury though. Last year Arenas was a lot less selfish and was really looking to get more people involved, almost to much so.

Plus hopefully he ate a big piece of humble pie after all the bull crap.
