Honestly, he was pretty bad. Maybe he can get something going with the Raptors though.

He played big minutes because of Yao's injury and isn't he going to be turning 30? I wouldn't expect anything much from him.

so you cant have 3 centers on a team? haha and your acting like brad miller is in his young 20's

if yao retires like he said he might do, they might regret this just for good depth

cause yao might retire and miller only got 2 decent years

david andersen is trash...morey turns around and flips him for a future second that could be a high second rounder since the raptors are basically in rebuilding mode

Meh, not gonna make a huge impact in T.O. but he's an okay backup.

I'd rather have the Raptors sign Louis Amundson.

The clips have to become a top 10 team in the league for the pick to actually come to us. There is WAY too much protection on the pick.

Nothing like a big deal to change the shape of the NBA for seasons to come :).

Raps could use another big man with NBA experience though, so not terrible idea to fill out the roster. Makes little difference for either team.

it was to try and save luxury tax money. saves our owner 5 mil in fines for a guy who would have been a DNP every night

Rockets already have 3 centers with Yao/Miller/Hayes.

Anderson used to stand by the 3-point line and hope someone would pass to him, really not great for our offense. And his defense was atrocious. Good luck to him in Toronto though, they seem to love international players.

haha He's about to be in yalls rotation so that says a lot about the team

I understand that Anderson may have played really well when he played in his country and many had high expectations for him, but he really did not impress me much this year at all. He didn't live up to the hype. He was suppose to be the replacement starting Center for Yao Ming, but that did not work out too well at all. He cared more about hitting shots from the outside than anything else.

maybe the Rockets have a lil more faith in Jordan Hill stepping up playing at C

We have miller now and jordan hill to play backup center to yao andersen wouldn't have seen much playing time. I appreciate the work he put in last year and wish him the best in toronto though.

i doubt he'll be in the rotation

So if Ed Davis is still developing and they decide they wanna bring him off the bench JUST LIKE Derozan, dont you think they would make Bargs PF and him the C?

Im not saying he's good, but i am saying he will be in yalls rotation either back up center or starting center if they wanna bring davis off the bench

Another EuroRaptor. He was supposed to be a specialist.

he kinda looks like Dirk...thats why we got rid of his ugly ***

Dude is too much of a finesse player for a big, he can score some buckets though. I would rather have him on the Bulls than Kurt Thomas.

Oh well not a bad trade. They are stacked at PF/C position anyways.

they had..

Andersen

and they have

Hill
Hayes
Yao
Miller
Patterson
Jeffries

exactly man...Andersen is very very average and not going to get much better(maybe a little). I watched every game last year and saw almost every minute he played. If Morey can work his magic and get another Budinger out of that pick, this is a steal.

x 2

Even if Yao's foot gives out.(I hope Not I love Yao)

Is this gonna be the starting line up(without yao)

Miller/Hill/Hayes?

Hayes is the better defender of those three, by far. He will start in certain circumstances. Hayes is very underrated by most NBA fans. He can body up against anyone in the league, but still blows the occasionally layup.

Hill is better suited as the backup PF, but is interchangable at the PF and C position. In fact, Miller and Hayes are interchangable too, IMO.

He was a DNP so much last season with CHUCK HAYES as our center. We did it to save money. Dude was soft serve ice cream anyways.

Hayes is a defensive machine and is undersized also he is awesome. and I love his free throw stance :)
