I just heard it on the news also..

"All-star point guard Chris Paul is expected to ask Hornets management Monday to trade him, according to several reports.

The New Orleans Times Picayune and other media outlets reported that Paul will meet with new New Orleans head coach Monty Williams and new general manager Dell Demps"

Great, now all these dazed & deficient people in their parents basement frantically conducting new trade ideas on the ESPN Trade Machine can relax until Monday.

Hey guess what people??? He's not going to your favorite team for garbage, ok?

This is a bad trend developing in the NBA. Superstar free agents are taking less money to play in larger markets, and those under contract are demanding to be shipped away from small markets.

I just heard on ESPN radio that it's not to discuss a trade but to discuss the Hornets future.

Yea I heard that also but they are just guessing that Cp3 will discuss about trading him also. We will see what happens.

In my honest opinion I think he stays and I am a NYK fan saying this. But boy I would love him in NY, I would buy his jersey asap :D.

Don't tell the people on the internet that. They have already predicted that Paul is gone, even before he could verify that these trade demands are actually true.

All of this will be ignored, because everybody here thinks Paul is going to their team for expirings and picks.

The Hornets' future without Chris Paul. :)

They wouldn't need to meet with Chris Paul to talk about the Hornets' future without Chris Paul.

lol true. But I was joking and trying to say this meant a trade was happening. And I failed.

I always thought of Chris Paul as a character kid, but by demanding a trade after signing an extension last year clearly shows a lack of good judgement. Him leavin nawlins for some team with another elite superstar would be bad for the NBA.

Even Kobe Bryant stayed patient after Shaq left LA.

I hope CP3 goes to orlando becuase if he goes to orlando they will stop Miami if the bulls can't! Orlando would be a really really fun team to watch. But then again all the power would go to Florida and that kinda pisses me off

Sweet... Now let's hope he says he wants to leave regardless of what they say and that they like the Magic offer best.

I agree in a way the problem is no team is giving the package they are going to want just for a season or two of Paul.

I think he has the control here if he really wants to be traded, I am sure teams will ask and if he says no they wont bother with an offer.

Kobe did what now? So do you think Kobe has better character or morals than CP3? Why do you have to judge them by doing something superstars have done since the games inception

I think that would put them over Miami!

CP3 made Tyson Chandler look like an elite center, what he could do with Dwight?

IMO, if he gets traded, it won't be to a team in the Western Conference. The Hornets don't want him to come back and haunt them. It will be to a team in the Eastern Conference, like the Knicks or Magic.

Exactly my thoughts.

I think the Knicks have not only more pieces, but more young talent to give to NO who will be rebuilding. (Walker, Gallo, Randolph, Chandler, Douglas)

Orlando just has:
Wince (who'd be pointless in NO)
Rashard (no way in hell NO takes his contract)
Jameer (NO has Collison)
Bass (David West lite)
Pietrus (NO has Posey)
Gortat - who's the only piece NO might be interested in

Wow, just wow. Talk about a one sided report? He's meeting with Monty and Demps to discuss the Hornest future and what they plan to do to improve the team. If he isn't sold, THEN he could provide them with a list of teams he'd like to go to.
