Either someone is giving him "patients" of some sort to work with..or he's just too excited to spell correctly, or he's an idiot.

i actually think "patients" may be the right word to use; Arent many Lakers fans waiting like crazy for tmac, Bell, or Barnes to join the team since day 1 as if there are no tomorrow?

Part of his contract stipulated an automatic degree in Clinical Psychology and his own patients...needless to say, he was happy.

So, one of the best defensive teams in the NBA just got two of the top defensive players in the entire league for relatively nothing? Wow, this is amazing :laugh2:

only? :eyebrow: maybe only in the nba, but only in the world? **** i'll do it :D. And also your forgetting the bonuses in the contract every player gets if the team makes the playoffs/wins the championship. But either way, he made a good amount over his career and if not all of us, then i guess 95% of us :eyebrow:

I think he's gonna be one of the people were making a thread for in 25 years about being broke bc he obviously wont have a career after basketball lol

Plus who would hire a guy besides sports with a big *** tattoo on his neck lol

Are we really criticizing athletes for their grammar? That's like criticizing Stephen Hawking for his post-up game. It's just not applicable.

What? It's the English language..EVERYONE should be able to use the correct grammar for the most part..especially when you are making millions.

So if Lebron typed on his twitter: I am going to Mami Het!!!! Ever sense I talked to my family it is tha best decision for me.

You wouldnt be like dang?? haha

I would say 75% of these athletes are not the smartest human beings out there, nor should they be expected to be. Many of them get basically free rides through school based on their athleticism. While it would be nice to think that the role models for our youth could display basic spelling and grammar abilities, it's just not realistic. The fact that he was on twitter and probably typing with a sense of euphoria only allows for further exemption. Now that's enough big words for me for one day.

haha I would definately be like dang, but I would also be thinking that if someone was to sign me to a max deal, I probably wouldn't be concerned too much about my grammar either. The part that concerns me more about Barnes' statement is the fact that he spelled Los Angeles wrong. If you are being paid millions of dollars it would be nice if you spelled your employer's name correctly. But alas, this seems like a pipe dream..

I would take being paid a million or 2, A year, Over knowing how to spell everything right anyday, Who really cares? Who is the one laughing all the way to the bank.... Question: When did this turn to Pro vocabulary daily? Some people here talk more about peoples spelling than they do sports...

You know that picture of G W Bush that has all those pictures of dead Iraqi soldiers?

How about the same thing except with hospital patients that forms a picture of Matt Barnes?
