View Full Version : Do you think NBA players should utilize the glass more?

Using the glass seems like it has gotten a bad taboo attached to it because it doesn't look as pretty as a swoosh. Yet using the backboard would increase shooting % quite a bit if utilized more. What's your opinion on it?

Tim Duncan is one of the best at using it I guess.

Banks shots are kind of a lost art in the League. Big Timmy has been pretty much on a solo crusade trying to bring them back

Kobe is using the glass a lot also, making bankshots, wild driving shots, and1s, passing himself

Is there anything that Kobe doesn't do? Seems like the case since he's in every forum.

Actually there is something he doesn't do...he doesn't go calling other super stars to create a super team so he can win championships to secure his legacy.

Gosh...I can't stand posts like these. I wonder how many people on PSD would literally blow kobe bryant if they were given the opportunity? I don't think I really want to know because I'm sure the number is overwhelmingly high.

Of course they should. While they are at it, they should also learn to actually play defense, make a free throw and an open 15 footer, other things NBA-players have forgotten how to do. It is especially frustrating as someone who coaches kids. They worship the NBA and its players and think they should be able to play the same way. No one does the basics anymore.
