It was probably sold for one dollar only on paper for tax purposes and now she is trying to profit of the situation at least that's what it sounds like to me.

No matter if it's on paper or not, def not on paper... You NEVER sell a company for a double cheeseburger basically haha

Unless it's family! Bc they have proof you were selling it for a dollar and the behind the scenes deals don't show up as evidence in court

This is the only scenario that really makes an sense from a business standpoint, well said and explained.

Don't think of it as a sale think of more as a transfer of ownership...Marbury is essentially given the company to someone else and removing his name and any future liability and control from the company.

This type of thing is not all that unusual. But those of you that understand econmoics and business already know this.

I wonder how many people who bought his $15 Starbury's will be suing him now because his kicks sucked.

You buy a company and property for $1 ... what'd you expect? You're going to spend a lot more in attorney fees to fight this...

i bet the company had some serious debt problems so it was logical to get it off his hands. somebody probably bought the company on impulse and went over the books and found some **** out and now is trying to sue him for some reason or another.

Some of you are acting as if he were looking for money in return. Marbury has done many stupid things in his life, yes. But this was more than likely just a transfer of ownership. I'm sure a statement will be released explaining.

I had 2 or 3 pairs of those, and you couldn't pay me to play in them.
