Idk if this has been posted yet but I thought it was interesting to see the cavs fans sticking together even after Lebron left, I see them a 7th or 8th seed type of year, that would be amazing for those fans

I would never help a billionaire pay anything ever, in any scenario.

I think the concept is cool, but he is a billionaire. he can afford to pay the fine. 100k to him is like a dollar to us.

This is a statement. A statement to LeBron and Stern. It's not a matter of money.

Why would someone help this billionaire pay for something? By buying a ticket you support him enough.

They aren't making the playoffs this year.

You guys are missing the point. No **** the guy is a millionaire that's besides the point. The guy had the balls to say what millions of other Cleveland fans were thinking and they are showing their support for that. Pretty respectable IMO (and I've always hated CLE sports).

If I remember correctly he isnt a billionaire, dude is worth like 450 mil.

Still a lot of money but definitely no where near billionaire status.

Well stated. I don't know why but in this country, people tend to worry about the pocket of the rich. I don't. Those fans are DUMB.

Thats sweet.

Dan Gilbert's Net worth is $1.1 Billion. Cavs fans are willing to pay 0.009% of Gilbert's Net Worth.

Who's dumber the ones that do it or the ones that always have something to say about it? Least they trying to do something positive and show morale and character instead of trollign all day on a PC. Gets on my nerves some people have something to say about everything and everyone.

Thank you, at least someone has common sense and understands this. Principle not $$$

I feel for you guys, shame that a town that isn't into sports gets such a great talent while the die hards get jobbed.

On the bright side, maybe the Three Amigos develop a coke problem and never win a title.

Some of you people are funny..like someone else said, you guys are missing the point. Its not the fact that he is a millionaire, its the fact that the fans support him for standing up and speaking his mind. He already said he wont accept their money and if they want to donate it somewhere, they can donate it to charity. But its just the respect part because what he did probably made the fans feel a little better.

oh man this is funny; yes a little too soon but very funny.
i don't think clevelanders can afford to help pay for anything. 50 million of revenue just left their city. they need to buckle down & start clipping those coupons

Classless fans support classless owners. They see bits of themselves in him. What else is new.

Yea a statement of how dumb cavs fans are.lol Don't be mad at lebron, be mad at that sorry @** owner who had lebron there for 7 yrs and never got him any real help. They could have convinced anybody to play with lebron and all he went after was mo williams, a old and worn out shaq, and overrated antawn jamison. Since the owner wouldnt give him a real team he went out and found his own. C'mon... bron would have had a better supporting cast with the warriors than he had with cleveland last year, so I would have left too.

What?

Clearly alot of you are missing the pint Cleveland fans know he doesn't need help paying the fine there offering it as a gesture of gratitude to show him Cleveland has his back

Dan Bilbert is worth 1.1 billion and is one of the 400 richest Americans. America has over 300 million people!!!!!!

Im not helping pay for a fine for a billionaire! Its a cute gesture, but in all seriousness Cavs fans.
