Free agent center Johan Petro has reached agreement on a three year, $10 million deal with the Nets, according to Yahoo! Sports.

This is a reasonable deal for the veteran big man, who wound up starting 16 games for the decimated Nuggets frontcourt last year. He has never averaged more than 6.2 points or 5.1 rebounds in a season. http://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/18200253274

He's a good extra big to have on the bench and he has shown some ability. I would have liked to have him back but he's easily replaceable.

I like him.

Give him 20 mins and I see him getting 5 and 6. And those 5 points are going to come from offensive rebounds. You don't even need to give him the ball.

As a Nuggets fan the guy had his moments, he's 7'0" still so thats always good news but he did start to come on at the end of the season. Isn't a bad player but still a work in progress, pretty mediocre player but could make strides if he actually got to play.
