Dan Gilbert's company, Fathead cut the price of LeBron James' Cleveland Cavaliers poster to $17.41, a reference to the birth year of Benedict Arnold, a U.S. general who defected to the British side during the American Revolutionary War.

This is really bothering Dan...

Dan is a ***** like Lebron.
Adrian Woj described him perfectly in his article.
He needs to throw the blame on Lebron after being a main reason why Cleveland failed and Lebron became the egotistical monster that he is.
He was part of the problem and it's a shame people are looking at him as a hero.

Or because trying to keep Bron happy over the last couple of years cost him some bad contracts in Jamison and Varejo. They also could of traded him last year and atleast got something better than a couple of late 1st rd draft picks.

Relax guys.......Gilbert is going through the 7 stages of grief
Shock: “WTF?” “No way....... He went to Miami?"

Denial: “********, that's an April Fools joke. He wouldn't lie to the children in the boys and girls club. It's trap by ESPN!

Bargaining: "I'm going to quit Donny Walsh style if we don't get lebron back. just one more year. please. we'll do a sign and trade. Take my virginity damnit!"

Guilt: "We should have resigned him earlier." We should've made him part owner." We should have saved the cap for a big FA." We should have sued and fire delonte for ****ing Lebron's mom"

Anger: “**** Lebron.” “**** Riley.” “**** NBA.” “**** ESPN.” "**** Isiah.......no, double **** him" "**** Bosh&Wade" "**** MIAMI"

Depression: “Lebron was our only hope to be good team. We'll never win a sports championship. I have to sell this team now. He was a damn good baller. Bring on the terrorists. Suicide time"

Acceptance: “Eh. He's overrated. He'll be Wade's Pippen. He would have just made us worse anyway. He's a traitor and wasn't smart enough to go to college. Now we can focus on signing Irish players like Scal getting Harrison Barnes next year!”

I honestly think he's still on Stage 2........

i understand why he's mad. dude bend over backwards for Lebron. Every decision the team made when Lebron was on the team had to go through Lebron and get his approval. So in way...Lebron's also responsible for his own lack of supporting cast in Cleveland because he approved every single one of those players before Cleveland went for them.

you don't just 'find' a player 'like' lebron... hahahhaha

these are generational talents... lbj, kobe, mj, magic, etc...

he's pissed because he knows, he'll NEVER get another player like 'this' in his lifetime..

his franchise has, in one day, lost all relevancy on the global stage...

If Lebron James is Benedict Arnold then every free agent in any sport ever that changed teams and anyone that has ever changed companies within there field is Benedict Arnold as well.

Just when I think people can't surprise anymore......The late great George Carlin once said "Just think how dumb the average person is and imagine that half of them are dumber than that"

Don't understand why nobody has seen the bigger picture here. This has been planned for years. Lebron purpose threw two playoff games last season. If they would have been more competitve he would had to resign with Cleveland thus ruining everything. So many things had to have happen for this to go down. Th salary cap was supposed to go down but out of nowhere it goes up two mil. Commissioner Stern new about this and let it happen. Man still waiting for these stories to come out. Let the truth be heard.

Gilbert is a very funny man. Sometimes he will sit in with the broadcasters and will just joke around the whole time. But its quite clear you don't wanna tick this man off.

BTW- Dan has more dirt on lebron, But i think he's holding that back.

You clearly have no clue about what went on here. It's more then just a random guy leaving a team.

No I understand.

Cleveland had a hometown kid.
Cleveland ownership gave him say in decisions.
Cleveland ownership tried and failed to get good enough talent around him.
Giving a player say is bad business, let the GM make the team better and do his job.

Lebron had his contract expire and explored free agent options.
He signed with 2 of the best guys in the game in hopes of being part of a dynasty.
Lebron took less money to win and play with friends.
ESPN agreed to air a TV special that generated money for a charity and it happened to be where Lebron made his decision.

Yeah I have no idea whats going on. Lebron does not owe Cleveland the city, the fan base, or ownership a darn thing, he only owes himself and his loved ones. He did what he thought was best for him.

I think there are a select few of us that are not reacting emotionally that are the one's that actually understand and not all those people saying you suck Lebron or he's a traitor, they don't get it.

Since when is being a free agent treason? Don't many players change teams when they reach free agency status. Will agree that the ESPN spectacle was dumb but that doesn't constitute treason. If LeBron is traitor won't any free agents signed by Cleveland from other teams also be traitors?
