Korver and Reddick man the bulls are gonna be beast behind the line.

AI
07-09-2010, 11:54 PM
Why???

3 pt shooting is something Chicago lacked, by adding Korver & possibly Reddick to your bench it gives you depth and it opens up the game for Boozer, Rose, Deng to do their thing. It opens up the floor, Rose penetrates kicks out bang 3 by Korver. Pick & Roll Boozer rolls to the basket they double up on him bang 3 by Reddick

I bet Orlando surprises everyone and matches it. They haven't made any moves outside of Duhon and are going to lose Barnes most likely. This would leave the Magic with no SG on the bench if Vince and Peaches start.

Hehe! Love this! :)

Operation destroy and punish Miami has begun.

On an unrelated note, teams need to start attacking the Heats weaknesses, like their interior weakness. Teams like Orlando will punish Team Homolywood in the paint. Bulls now have Noah AND Boozer inside... and we keep adding key pieces to punish from the outside as well when our bigs are getting the defensive attention. Loving the moves this off season.

Do they still have enough cash for Livingston to play backup PG?

They only spent 11.5 mill on these two that leaves about 7-8 left over. Plus I don't think that a Deng trade is still out the question. Luol & his mysterious injuries have seemed to rub the Bulls the wrong way.

When they talk about the young core of the team his name is an after-thought.

The Bulls have $15M left after Korver in cap space. It's not so bad. If you give him a Hakim Warrick deal 4yrs $18M, Magic easily match it. The Bulls are filling spots in the roster with their cap space and yet people are still complaining. They will be fun to watch now. HATERS =

JJ REDICK as our starting SG?!?!?!?! WTF!!!! SMH.. He's Undersized, slow, cant dribble but sure he can shoot but what's the point of the Korver signing then?!?!?! We should have offered a contract for Morrow who shot an amazing 47% from the field and 46% from the 3 where 85% of his points were jump shots. Then we should go after Brewer for a lockdown defender, resign Miller, and then sign a backup pg.

I'm sorry, but the people who want Morrow over Redick don't have a clue about J.J. at all. Redick is so much more than a shooter...Some of you need to look up some Redick highlights from this season. He was our best play-maker this year; Defended Ray Allen the best out of anyone...Took the challenge on..Shot the best, and actually hit a few clutch shots...Morrow - Three, after three, a drive, then another three. I promise you guys J.J. would be the right thing for the Bulls.

I agree, but it just seems like Morrow was a pretty good bargain, while JJ might be overpriced. But I guess overpaying is what you have to do to take a restricted free agent from a contender.

Also, at the small price Morrow is getting, why couldn't they have had both

I agree.
I mean, 7 million isn't cheap, but it's not anything near the expensive contracts of Amar'e Stoudemire, Drew Gooden, or Amir Johnson. I feel like J.J. is worth the 7 million at best, and 95% of the time, J.J. is playing amazing. I don't know why, but he'd fit in to Chicago's system. Morrow is solid, but I've seen him play, and J.J. is worth the couple extra million. If it was 6 million, and I was the Chicago Bulls' GM, I'd be sold. The extra million shouldn't make that much of a difference though. Again, hopefully we match it.

I dont blame Chicago for this, because they're gonna retool their roster to be as good as, if not better than the Heat and they will pay whatever it takes to get it. I respect it. Nobody can check Rose, so the Bulls have secured help on the outside when he gets to the second level of the defense. Either live with a pass to Boozer for a layup or dunk, pass to Korver or Reddick for 3 or Rose for a walk an uncontested layup.

We should have offered a contract to Morrow who is more athletic, younger (25), and a better shooter. He shot 57% from the field and then 56% for 3's. He is also known as a gym rat back in his days in Georgia Tech and he is also known around the league as having a smooth stroke. Sign Brewer and then go over cap for Miller and a pg. Law or another person maybe even Asik. Then we would really make sound around the whole league

Reddick is horrible he only looked decent this year because his team was stacked, along with having a Center who commands a lot of attention inside.

Paying 6.5 for this guy is a mistake. He doesn't do anything besides spot up, and he didn't even look that good this past year at doing that.

And don't tell him "he got better, he can do more now," I watched him this year, he's still the same Reddick on a very good team. With Lewis, Carter, and Dwight out there, No one even pays attention to him, and he still wasnt that impressive.
