I would have expected the Warriors to match, but with them in financial turmoil and just committing $80m to Lee apparently they won't...

Great signing for the Nets if they don't. $4m a year for one of the best shooters in the league who's only 24 years old and on a relatively short contract as well.

Nothing but good things will come from this for the Nets.

That is too ****ing cheap for the Warriors to not match

I doubt the Warriors match. We already have Reggie Williams at the 2. Morrow is a good shooter but he can't play the 3 for us.

Hopefully we can use Morrow to work out a S&T deal to acquire Terrence Williams.

Discount for either team, Nets could use a shooter like him though.

On a side note, 85% of his shots are jumpers. That's flat out crazy considering his FG%. Anyone know how good his defense is or is he just a one trick pony?

If New Jersey gets him, it'll be an absolute steal. Morrow's FG% and three-pt shot stats are insane. His defense can use a little work, but with Brook behind him... he should be ok. Great signing, if GSW doesn't match.

Warriors will match, they really like morrow. They said they wouldnt go higher then 2-3 a year but i highly doubt they let him slide over something so small.

Alongside Lopez and Favors, Williams is untouchable... He has an all-star skill set.

He's got good size for a 2 guard, but I can't say i've watched him enough to make a judgement on his defense. He's only played for GS as well so I suppose nothing can really be put into his defense...

His defensive rating is 115 for his career (points allowed per 100 possessions)... I don't really know if that's above or below average.

Assuming that stat means something, that looks awful lol. I wonder how his game will translate to a team that isn't run and gun.

He'll join us once he becomes a FA.

You should stop checking out Defensive Ratings. They are extremely flawed.

warriors should match but morrow would be the best fit in Miami...with the big 3 getting all the defenses attention Morrow would dominate hitting open 3s

Damn..I'm a die hard Bulls fan but as I see what the Nets have been doing so far I definitely want to follow them. Damion James is beasting summer league right now and they have a really solid roster as well.Keep it up.

Hasn't signed the offer yet, was only given the offer. The Bulls would be wise to swoop in and offer more this weekend given the info. They will be sorry they didn't, if they do not get Morrow. He's a perfect fit with the lineup Chicago has in place.

its a great deal for a player who has a lot more upside than the majority of players who received more than that this off season.

Nets and Warriors are finalizing sign-and-trade for Anthony Morrow that will return a $4 million trade exception to GState, sources tell Y!
http://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/18378672800

Morrow agreed to a three-year, $12 million offer sheet with New Jersey on Saturday. Now, the restricted free agent is on his way to Nets.http://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/18378790155

Morrow hadn't signed offer sheet yet, so the S-and-T was still an option. Nets considered frontloaded deal, but went this faster route.http://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/18379533809
