Ok now that The king, wade, and bosh are offically on the same team. Do you guys think they can beat the bull's season single record of 72-10. Yes i think there gonna beat it. I predict there gonna be 76-6. What do you guys think.

who cares, records are made to be broken

haha 76-6??? are you kidding??
its hard to get 70 on the NBA..
even if you put on the the greatest starting 5 the odds are not 100%..
look at how the pistons beat the lakers HOF team (malone, payton, shaq, kobe)..
and there are 82 games, there will be off nights and injuries

they might break it, but i dont think they will win 76 games. if they break it they will win 73

Well they are still all in there prime you have to figure they all will atleast play 40+ minutes. I mean if none of them get injured they will most likely beat it.

If they still healthy, I definitely think they will top the Bulls' record.

they will not beat it. Need a bench. They will be too tired to last and perform well for 82 games.

I don't think so, realistically, I could see a 68-14.

SchyGuy11
07-09-2010, 02:45 PM
no they will win about 65-67 games

I don't think people realize how hard it is to win 70 games in a season.

Its not out of the question, i think it more likely their second or third season together. but yea, if any team can they can.

GSW Hoops

Well, they'll definitely have at least 8 victories: 4 against Cleveland, 4 against Toronto :)

I realize how hard it is... but we have never seen a team with such a young dominating 3... they are in my opinion the best sf, sg, and like the 3rd best pf. Its unreal

the King of what?

Miami? wrong Wades town
Cleveland? wrong, his not welcome
NBA? wrong, Kobe owns the NBA!

Wade is the Alpha dog on that team!

Bosh and James are support

Breaking records? they haven't even played one preseason game yet

Hold your horses buddy....

The Bulls team that set the record had one hell of a bench... Something the Heat don't have yet. Until their final team is put together then I think we can judge if they look legit enough to break the record.

who the ***** cares, their not gonna win the championship. lebron has won 2 mvp's in a row and 2 league best records, still no ring

Give me a break! There is NO WAY they are going to break that record. They have THREE great players and that's it. The rest of their team is going to be horrible. You guys seem to forget that that Bulls team was not only Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman but they also had Kerr, Kukoc, and Ron Harper. If you put the current Heat up against the 95-96 Bulls they'd get their ***** handed to them LOL!

They'd need some "pretty good" (understatement) bench players before they can even think about winning 70+.
If the new CBA is strict, then they probably won't get there.

NYR_NYJ
07-09-2010, 03:11 PM
They need more depth first off the bench.

They just better not play Greece a team with no stars in the NBA.

64-65 wins.

You have to get lucky and stay away from injuries, from minor spains and bruises, all the way up to shoulder injuries that require a wheel chair, to get near 70.

I think there's a good chance they do break it

Cbast09
07-11-2010, 08:25 AM
They are going to have a solid bench come season time. The team is starting to form together. IDK if they are going to break it, but they should have 60+ wins.

GrumpyOldMan
07-11-2010, 08:25 AM
We will have to see how they fill out their roster. They have the front end talent to do it, but we don't know how their bench will look yet.
Also I personally like to put stock into resting star players toward the end of the season to get ready for playoffs. Especially if they are expected to play big minutes. 70 wins shouldn't be a target. A championship should be.

I think these guys can beat it, not this year, but most likely in 2-3 years after knowing each other's tendencies, and building a stronger team and a good bench.

2-3 year is too long. If not this year (they will have a solid bench this year), then next year. In 3 years, Wade will be 31 and this dream team would be a failure.

How would it be a failure? If they don't break the record so be it, as long as they win multiple championships is what counts.....

Oh I meant winning championships. I thought you meant that they wouldn't win until like 2-3 years from now. My bad.

Be hysterical if what happened to Orlando when they got McGrady and Hill. One of them was always injured happened to Miami. 3 years from now they giving away draft picks to get people to take a broke Bosh & Wade.

Mochalman

nope, why run up the miles on their bodies just to break a record? they did this for championships not some dumb single season record.
