got this from a website. http://www.ocregister.com/sports/-256818--.html

-- There are many reasons why the Lakers will beat the Miami Heat this season, even with LeBron James. The first is because of team chemistry. The Lakers' big three have played together for three-plus seasons.

-- The Lakers know too well what happens when a roster is loaded with big games and bigger egos (remember Kobe, Shaq, Karl Malone, Gary Payton, etc.). An implosion can happen. LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh will discover there is only one ball and the need for one star

-- Pat Riley, rumored to be headed back to the bench, still loves the Lakers and won't let the Heat beat them.

-- Having three superstars are great, but who else do the Heat have? As the Lakers have shown, a great team needs depth. The Lakers deep talent has been key to their back-to-back championships.

-- Who will post up Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol? Not any of the NBA's new Big Three. Mario Chalmers and Michael Beasley are no match for the Lakers' Big Two

-- The club scene in South Beach has proven a distraction to many NBA teams. The Heat, though, has captured the Lakers attention and they now will remain focused on basketball and not partying in South Beach. That is unless....

-- .... Reality stars Khole and Kourtney Kardashian are in the process of taking Miami. Then Lamar Odom might be a bit distracted.

-- Dwyane Wade and LeBron James are excellent defenders. But the need to shine offensively will overshadow their defense and the Lakers will score 120 points on the Heat.

-- With Carlos Boozer going to Chicago and Amar'e Stoudemire heading to New York, the West just got easier. A smooth ride through the Western Conference playoffs means the Lakers will have fresh legs for LeBron and Co. in the Finals -- should the Heat get that far.

-- The Miami Heat will wilt under the pressure of NBA championship expectations and the Lakers will manage another three-peat.

-- Phil Jackson is returning to the Lakers.

I think the biggest factor is having Phil back for one last ride. The Lakers are going to be so motivated to get Phil his last 3peat and I don't see anybody get in their way. They are gonna fight and claw to get there, but it can be done.

The ravings of a jealous, bitter, and scared writer. If the Lakers play the way they played against the celtics in Game 7, Miami is going to destroy them. Their days on top are over.
