How many titles will the Trio of Wade, Lebron and Bosh win?

Wade will be 29 in January
Lebron will be 26 in December
Bosh is 26 now

I said 4.. I doubt they win next year, give them a year or two to fill out their roster. Another team should be able to steal one somewhere along the line, maybe OKC... They would probably win more after they resign for another 5 years after.

Next year Lakers 3peat, the year after that NY can bring Melo & CP3 and beat Mia, then OKC just getting better by the day...

Right now... I give them 0......... Until I see the final roster on the team, I cant pick them as favorites... I think Boston and Chicago are alot better....its too early too predict...

So Chris Paul will only leave the Hornets after his contract expires? No trade possible?

4, lets not forget this is just the first step to building this team. They are pitching FA's to take less money as they did. People dont even realize how good these guys are going to be yet. To start with this trio is a joke.

There is a big difference in taking 1 million less and still making around 15 to 16 million and taking 1 to 2 million less and only making about 1.5 million. Great selling point.

I say 0... Although they are a great talent, I just see teams with better chemistry and quality big men that can beat this "Thought" of a team. Once they sign a big man... SHAQ, I think might go back down there... Then I may change my mind. But as it stands now, this team is a whole lot of talent... but chemistry can take years.

Burkey3472
07-09-2010, 01:34 PM
If they are only together for five years then I'd say around 3 but if they sign extension's down the line they could win 5, maybe 6.

I say 4 titles. Miami is about to add Mike Miller to this roster. So there's your shooter, now they just have to address the C postion. Players will come, despite how many of you feel. Besides there is no better big three than Miami's. LBJ/WADE/BOSH all in their primes!

Avenged
07-09-2010, 01:41 PM
I can see them winning 1-2 simply because their are other elite teams out there. It really depends on who they add to their roster because 3 man team will not get it done for 48 minutes.

shep33
07-09-2010, 01:43 PM
If they win any less than 5 its still a disappointment in my book... the 3 best player in the east no one team. They planned it, they gotta live up to it... at least 5 is the precedent they should set.

I see them winning 2-3. More because they'll cruise in the easy eastern conference

I chose Zero, Not even a finals appearance. I was leaning towards a Finals Appearance but Neh.

As of right now the team is:

Wade
Bosh
LeBron
Miller

and empty, they have a lot of roles to fill, there bench will not be close to match any of the other stronger bench teams in the NBA. What do they plan on doing? giving these guys 40 Minute nights? They will be tired come playoff time. There is too much hype surrounding these guys right now. There is going to be A LOT of expectations. LeBron and Bosh have not taken any blame/responsibility to this day for losing, they had always blamed others. I cant wait till the day come where they lose again and have no one but themselves to blame. This is D-Wades team, you better come out to play Bosh and LeBron and put your ego's aside and listen to your captain!

Anyways I just wish them the best, I dont agree with what transpired but if they believe that they will be "the best" and want to take less money to make it work, then do it.

I am still going to support the Toronto Raptors because I liked the team and Bosh wasnt a great leader.

On a final note, At least Alex Ovechkin came out open to the media and said that he takes all the blame for their team not getting far into the playoffs. Bosh never came out taking any blame for not making the playoffs, and LeBron, well why dont we just watch the Boston series again and you can watch LeBron giving the series to Boston, he did not come out to play and never took the blame.

Mecca in Miami ..... Miami will run everyone off the court.... U can bank on it....

Lakers211221
07-09-2010, 02:25 PM
I went with zero...first they'll have to get past Boston who is looking like they are bringing back most of their key players and adding JO...and they have to get past Orlando...and the Bulls who have added Boozer to an already talented roster and still have $18 mil to spend...if they are somehow able to get through those 3 teams, then they get the Lakers in the Finals

bogdanrom
07-09-2010, 02:29 PM
Well see. They don't even have a team yet. Having this "Dream" team does not mean instant success. Great teams have lost. Think Lakers to Pistons, even think US basketball.

To me, anything expect winning a title every year will be a failure.

UNO....they haven't even assembled a roster of guys around the three stars and Wade is very injury prone. If Wade goes down for a substantial amount of time and the Heat don't have serviceability guys, then they can kiss their hopes of winning the East goodbye. I say they win the title next year or in two years after they get more time to play together.

I hope Kobe, Dirk, Dwight Howard, Nash, Durant all take the vet min and all sign with the Heat. That way the Heat can win Championships and all the rest of the teams can sit and watch role players try to beat them. Its basically what they did by taking less pay then the Heat can feel like they accomplished something they were able to stack a team and beat the rest of the NBA. I am being sarcastic. I feel these three broke a code in the NBA if every superstar did what they did the Lakers, Celtics, Knicks, and Heat would have every superstar and the rest nothing. Its a short cut to a Championship. I dont want to hear about its only 3 players its the same exact thing as 12.

Since it states trio, I said zero and no finals appearances. In my opinion, they won't win one in the first two years and at that point, they'll be looking to send Bosh and his contract anywhere just to get some wiggle room.

As a trio, none. As for James and Wade, they'll get 2-3 after Bosh is ditched.

No disrespect to Bosh but he won't last to see the end of that contract in Miami.

honestly i think they are handcuffed. They won't be able to put together a great team around them unless players take some serious pay cuts.

I don't think that the trio will play amazing together. I mean, they are great players, but i think they may not understand the sacrifice that is needed in this situation.

LOL people keep talking about chemistry yet as soon KG, Pierce, and Allen stepped onto the court and played together they started dominating the league already...

I'd be worried if one of the players was Kobe... because Kobe has always been known to be a selfish player... But James and Wade are known to set up teammates and share the ball... What makes you guys think that they haven't talked about this and agreed they need to be unselfish in order to be GREAT.... Are they supposedly winning all of these titles before the impending strike / lockout or after, when the cap will be entirely different and may not even allow them to stay together? Anyone who thinks the other 29 NBA owners are going to ignore the flaws in the CBA that allowed this to happen is fooling himself. The Heat will be fortunate to get one before the proposed rule changes, which include a hard cap, force the team to split up.

Lebron is better than both players. Even Wade is better than both players.

All who voted zero are just haters.
There will be chemistry in this team and there will be no problems in it.
Lebron will be main playmaker
Wade will be main shooter
Bosh will be main rebounder.
They played together a lot of times and they all are great friends since 2003 nba draft.
After 3-4 years Wade will get older and Miami will be considered as Lebron's team.
They will win a lot of championships and retire jerseys of the Three Kings in Miami Heat.
Good End.

I don't see them winning within the first 3 years. The Lakers and Magic are my better bet. After that I can see them winning 2 rings at the most. If the Knicks can get that super team made, watch out. They would be better than this team because they would have a specialist in every category. They would have the best playmaker and distributor in the game in CP3, the bets pure scorer in the league in Melo, and one of the best offensive big men in the game today in Amare.

very hard to say.i dont have them winning this year,in the future if the rules arent changed, then i say they will...which brings the next point, the lockout and new cba, making it harder to tell.and finally depends on if they take that opt out after 4 years or not...

I am going to say 4, they will be like the spurs but with a three-peat somewhere. Then will win another. They will fall apart at the end of their contracts because Miami will not be able to keep ALL of them at that time.

I wonder if all the people that put zero are just hoping beyond hope, seriously deeply mired in whole major hate, or just in total denial?

If you would've said one then ok but zero? If Lebron took Cleveland to the finals do you really think he can't win at least one with 2 allstars?

All I know is that they won't win as much as Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol and Derek Fisher.

Bryant, Gasol, and Fisher have only won 2 and 2 for the heat trio is certainly achievable.

I like how the people that put 0 are just in denial. In reality, they know the heat are going to win AT LEAST 1. Stop letting your pride control your biased judgements.... i'm not heat fan either but I laugh at the pity.

Not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, but 5 rings. They won't win them in 5 straight seasons, but I'd venture to guess that they win next season especially if it's a shortened season, their overall talent will just overshadow the lack of training camps and preseason. Not to mention they already don't play as a team, so they lack of cohesion won't hurt them as much.

Not 1 Not 2 Not 3 Not 4 Not 5 Not 6 Not 7

This never gets old... it's still funny.

You have to give Miami fans a little credit though... most of them stayed the course through this season. I give them another 1-2 seasons tops before they get on the Griffin or Wall bandwagon.

Stuckey#3

Honestly though... maybe one.

There might not be a season so that puts Lebron at 28 during in 2012. Big SF's like him do not age like wine... so that gives him a 2-3 year window. Wade is injury prone and Bosh inconsistent. Still I think if Riley is looking for the best short term high reward scenario he should trade Lebron for Dwight or a package including Bogut/Jennings level players + draft picks.

Didn't you hear? Not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6, not 7... None! Hahaha!

All kidding aside, as much as I don't want to admit it, those 3 are capable of winning multiple championships... I hate Lebron and I don't give a $#it about Bosh so I really hope they don't win a title... That being said, I do believe they could win at least 2... They got to the finals the first year they have been together... If the new cba will allow them to stay together and add a significant piece or two to their roster, they will continue to be a force to be reckoned with...

My guess is 1. Its never easy to win it all and they will always be under a massive amount of scrutiny. I'd like it if they never won at all but i just don't see it as being realistic.

I will say this though, if they get knocked out of the playoffs or lose in the Finals again next year, its just gonna be tougher for them to get back the following year (and the following year). The east is getting stronger.

1, two if they are really lucky... we talk about the Knicks forming to counter them, but there's also OKC, who's core has been together for a bit already. But it depends on the new rules after this strike... If there's a Cap... both teams would be heavily affected (As there probably be no way that OKC can afford Durant/Harden/Ibaka/Westbrook and Perkins together in their primes.

KnicksorBust
08-18-2011, 11:06 AM
All it takes is one bad series and they are out. Bulls/Knicks/Bos can push them in the East and OKC/Lakers/Mavs are still strong out in the West.

I'd guess 2-3 rings. I do think if there was a season they'd be a 60+ win team though.

AKAYaReal

My guess at this point is 0. Making it to the finals one yr doesnt mean you will make it any other yr. Just ask the 08 Mavericks that made it to the finals in 07, had the best record in the NBA, and got eliminated in the 1st rd by the Warriors.

My point is other teams will also improve and Miami will have to fight (probably harder than this season) to make it back to that point.

Making it to game 6 of the finals didnt prove anything to me, the Celtics lost in game 7 the yr before and didnt even make it to the Eastern Conference Finals this yr.

Let them make it back to the finals before we start just handing them rings!
