This is a serious thread...
can't say that i didnt expect a "lol" or anything... especially from this site.

Does anyone know how much cap room the Cavs have after Shaq and Bron are off the books?

What I heard earlier is that if they release Delonte (which is expected) then they would have around 13 million in cap space. I would like to see them going after Childress.

Sign every single one of those players listed...Cavs still wouldn't make it to the finals.

No one listed here is going to get this team anywhere near the finals.

? u mean replace, it's time to trade for as many draft picks as possible. Save cap room for 2015 when LeBron is a FA.

Honestly Dan Gilbert is completely unrealistic if he thinks that the Cavs are going to win anything anytime soon...they have no cap space, bloated contracts, and just lost the guy they built the team around...the team he built was not meant to stand on it's own...it was built for Lebron...yes they won 66 games...but when you lose the MVP...well ouch. All the elite free agents are signed...Lebron screwed over every team that banked on him by taking so dang long...not saying it's his fault they played the cards that way...but the Cavs were the most ill prepared. It was Lebron or nothing all along...and this is the bed they lie in, fair or not. But for Gilbert to shoot his mouth off like he did about winning a title before Lebron....he has made himself look pretty foolish and made Lebron leaving the Cavs look that much smarter...this whole arms race with the Heat is ridiculous...

They are going to have to get lucky in the lottery because that is what they are destined for now.

Richard Jefferson, Kyle Korver and Tracy McGrady... if you get them, you have some chances for Conference semi finals.

No one can replace Lebron really. Given that the Cavs don't have the cap space or there are not any FAs available. Only through trade, but who can you trade for and what do you give them back?

Lebron was carrying the Cavs on his own for a long now, he wasn't helped, and now that he's gone, the franchise will shrink.

Was going to say pretty much this, except I see it as alphadog/legacy issues coming to the fore after a few years, and LBJ demanding a trade back. Just a feeling.

Until then there's no replacement: they're going to have a miserable few years.

I don't think they'll even have to tank to have a shot at him :smoking:

Seriously though, no star player will be eager to go to Cleveland. I honestly think the Cavs franchise will not recover from this anytime soon.

Unfortunately I feel this is true. Cleveland is going to suffer for quite a while.
