I've been a Heat fan my whole life because I was born and raised in South Florida. I was a fan when the team won 15 games. I'm a Heat fan for life. It's going to be crazy. Miami never gets attention in the media until now.

Meh.

I'm a fan of all 3 players. I don't think I'm gonna be full on the wagon. Sure, I'll cheer for them but I'm not gonna ride it.

Cuz if I didn't have so much Warriors gear in my apartment I would think about it :D

 Wow, not a true fan.

If he really wanted to win he would go to the bulls

they have the perfect talent (roles) from starters to the first 3 off the bench to win a title... those 3 planned this a long time ago, he obviously was tanking in the playoffs on purpose so he wouldnt have a reason to stay in cleaveland if they won the title

Only against the Lakers! But even then I'd cringe to support either team...

If anything, I do love Wade's game.

Any of you jumping the Miami Heat bandwagon?

Absolutely not.

I will always be a loyal fan of the Toronto Raptors.

I'm jumping on the Bulls bandwagon. I want to see this team get taken down but just can't bring myself to root for the Celtics or Magic. In a Lakers/Heat final I won't support either.

My name should say how loyal I am.

And my sig bets should back it up too.

But I honestly don't blame Lebron. I didn't like the way he handled it but I would have gone somewhere where I had a legit shot at winning.

F the heat, no way in hell lebron can become an all time great with two high level all stars. Basically its like jordan cloned himself and got karl malone to play with himself and himself. If you win nobody cares, you were supposed to win. If you lose you become such a joke its not funny.

NO!!!! The Heat is a division rival and I am a Hawks fan all the way.

The only Bandwagon I'll join is for all the top teams to make sure the Heat don't win a title. Go Kobe I guess!:D

If you decide to root for them now you are the definition of a bandwagon fan.

Reyes6
07-09-2010, 12:28 AM
I'm sticking to the Rockets and unless Mutombo joins the Heat... I'll be loyal to the Houston Franchise. It should be great for people in Miami to watch those 3 superstars EVERY SINGLE GAME... but either way, this opens a HUGE gap in the East and the West just got weaker with Amare and Boozer leaving. And I think there will be more bandwagon Laker fans, because until Miami wins a title with this team on the floor... it's all speculation. And if they don't, it's complete dissapointment every year.

SugeKnight
07-09-2010, 12:28 AM
Theyd be my second or third favorite team

yea, my favorite teams in order now would be warriors, knicks, kings, cavs, heat

justcallmetm
07-09-2010, 12:29 AM
im a knicks fan am i happy no but to be the so called "king" and go jump with wade and bosh means you need your pawns to help you win a title sorry but thats not being a player with killer instincts i think he dont have that in him to be able to really take over a game when the lights are bright why he kept failing

i respect jordan who had only pippen and scrubs atleast whoever was thrown in jordans way he took out like trash as good as the other teams was he did it with 1 running mate

which makes me respect kobe more for wanting the challenge to do it just like jordan and also bringing that killer instinct and he doing it with gasol and some very decent players not all world players but very good players with him

Been a Heat fan for ever since I started watching Basketball. I don't live in Miami, I live in CT sadly but I felt like choosing my favorite team and I started to follow the Heat. I feel that just because I live in the New England area that I have to follow boston sports(Celtics,Patriots) but I chose to like the Heat, and Eagles for football because I like what there teams are about. But please no bandwagon fans now, when school starts I'll have to deal with all the Lebron homers and bandwagon heat fans.

they only got like 50 fans

A pep rally for Wade... had 30 people there. Maybe the other 20 got lost? :P Hopefully they all get lost. Frankly, I am now waiting for Stern to investigate if there was tampering going on. I mean, the fact that a 'summit' was talked about for so long is just pathetic. Maybe Wade was talking for Riley during this summit and then Riley starting working on it.

Frankly, this has made the NBA into a bigger joke then any sport. Maybe this elevates NHL past NBA in USA. I would find that hilarious, that these three guys dropped the NBA. I mean, when you have Ref's deciding games... now elite players piggybacking on each other.

Eh, to answer your question... HELL NO! I want this to fail so badly, I will CHEER every lose for that pathetic team. Every time they get into a fight over one ball, I will be there. Every time they can't decide who takes the last shot, I will be there. Every time the arena still has empty seats, I will be there LAUGHING. :)

i dont really watch much basketball until playoff time because id rather play it so i dont have a fave team only a fave player and that is iverson though lebron james is the best in the game.if iverson joined id be all over the heat.all the moaners and complainers about lockdowns and omg 3 elite players stacking their team this and that ******** need to move past it.you dont win a championship through your roster.if you did boston would have won 3 straight and the washington redskins would be a championship team and they dont even contend.on any day that 3 elite can be beat by one elite like kobe or a stack of role players.so stop crying and moaning and saying this is a sad day for basketball.and saying hockey is the best thing now when football will always reign supreme.team effort wins championships period.

i dont really care for basketball in a bunch since i like baseball more and yeah its a team sport but in football its 54 players on a team and baseball is 24 players thats alot of players which all need to do there part to win but in basketball all it takes is 2-3 players to make a difference and well your talking 2001 lakers 2 of there stats where on there way down and the current big 3 in boston are on there down side of there careers who didnt get put together till they where 32 and up resepctively

so im not here moaning and groaning im just feeling what i bet other owners around the league feel gutting a roster to get these 3 players atleast boston had all there pieces and traded for garnett and allen and both where 31-32 when they came in and on the downside of there careers not there peak of there careers let alone got all thru free agency

i know people will hate on lebron now bcuz he didnt choose their team but dont get mad at him cause he by joinging the heat he rly does have a rly good chance of winning a title. besides chicago which is where i wanted him to sign i think the heat have the best chance to win a title next season. poeple r hating on him saying he had to join wade and bosh to win a title, have u guys ever played sports. if two of my best friends just signed with a team and i had a chance to play with both of them and have a chance to win an nba title y not. they r all going to have a fun time playing with eachother and so what if there some of the greatest players in the league. They all had a choice on where to play and they all choose miami deal with it. dont hate lebron for choosing miami and not ur team. but i do agree this rly throws off the nba now cause its miamis champisonship to loose every year. i think the lakers will give them a run for their money as their a complete team. miami still needs a pf C and sixth man

I have been a heat fan since brian grant and alonzo mourning played there with jamal mashburn but the Sixers will be my favorite team no matter what. The heat are my 2nd fav team in the east, just a little ahead of the hawks

oh dont get me wrong i have nothing totally against it but im more upset how teams gutted there roster like miami to do it and i dont think the next CBA agreement would be favorable to the players or there will be a lockout i feel more for the owners for there stupidity to let the players wield this power and now this is what they get a nba video game

I'm a Celtics fan through and through. I dislike LeBron James, I love Chris Bosh, and I love Dwayne Wade.

I plan to root for the Heat if the Celtics don't make it. This team is good for the NBA, no doubt.

Two of the top three players in the NBA on the same team, along with a top 3 PF...

I can't say I'm please, and anyone who is "jumping on the bandwagon" is either a LeBron fan, or a fan of a team who won't win more than 30 games.

My interest in the NBA is all gone!! It is the worst run sport out of the big 4, and tonight they proved it. It is a league that has 5 or 6 really good teams and the rest of the league along with one of if not there best player is a JOKE!!! When I do watch my favorite team will be the one playing the Heat. The 1st person I see wearing a James or a Heat jersey I am going to kick there ***. (I live in Philly).

If I had a wish it would be the Cavs knocking the Heat out in the playoffs, if that happens I will start paying attention again.

Lebron you flushed your respect and pride down the ******* and made this whole situation and the NBA a JOKE!!!!

I will be. The duo of LBJ and Wade will be very fun to watch. I live in Australia and I'm a fan of the game, not a team

I'm disappointed he went to Miami but he couldn't have chosen a better team to join for now and in the future

60 to 70 percent of the league will win less then or aound 30 to 35 games. the 6th,7th,and 8th seeds in the east will all be under 500. what a league to be poud of winning a Championship, with a team that has 3 all stars, because you cant make anyone on your team better, you need a team with players to make u better

One thing is for sure... Bryant's odds of winning MVP again just sky-rocketed (along with Kevin Durant, Melo, and Dwight)

Sorry, but that's simply not how it works."

no way. I will root for them to lose. I think tonight that Knicks, Nets, Bulls, Clippers, and Cavs fans can agree that we hope the Heat lose to all these teams when they play each other. I am not a Cavs fan but when the Heat play the Cavs I think all of America (excluding Miami) will be rooting for Cleveland.

Call me crazy but the winner of the 2011 NBA championship is all on the shoulders of Andrew Bynum. Only a dominant twin-tower effect can take on this soft and undersized, but incredibly talented and skilled Heat team and win, IMO.

Like I said- how can you root for this team unless your team has zero chance of making the playoffs.

Well I say: Allen Iverson, Tracy McGrady, and Shaq joins the Heat. Mike Miller already has. And then Alonzo Mouring comes out of retirement to join the Heat.

PG- Iverson/Chalmers
SG- Wade/McGrady
SF- Lebron/Miller
PF- Bosh
C- Shaq/Zo

WTF is wrong with the Minnesota Timberwolves...... Why the F... would you be helping Miami out with trades after the mockery they just made of the entire league.... That's just stupid. No wonder why that organization is always among the worst in sports.

I've been a Heat fan my whole life because I was born and raised in South Florida. I was a fan when the team won 15 games. I'm a Heat fan for life. It's going to be crazy. Miami never gets attention in the media until now.

You are definitely in the minority in terms of the Heat having "dedicated" fans through "thick and thin"

Agreed Jackson is an a-hole for the comments he made, he had his children watch, he said Cavs fans should be a shame for there actions, Now we know why the biggest sport station covers the majority of the NBA!!! they are both a joke, hope the NHL never goes back to ESPN,

As for the bandwagon, let the Heat fans get on first, you watch a Miami game and over half the stands are EMPTY!! this was a playoff team last season.
