lol ditto on that...esp since our freaking bench is empty. if lebron doesnt go to miami...they would have too much cash remaining...they would end up like bulls i guess in the end. lets see what happens.

Tony Allen is what I want for the Lakers.

He can score, but I dunno... it could be worth it, cause I doubt he's worth a lot and if Shannon commands more money to stay with us, heck why not sign him for like a mil or something.

Neither of these guys helps the Lakers at all.. They are both summer league filler types at best.. Wafer already had a stint with the Lakers and couldn't make the squad and not much has changed with his game since that time.. So why the interest now.. ??

He's not really needed as there are bigger holes to fill but having an extra defender wouldn't hurt.

The Lakers need a veteran. Other teams are improving with proven players; the Lakers need to do the same.

This actually makes perfect sense now.. The Lakers court and sign Von Wafer to counter Miami's signing.. :speechless::clap::speechless::clap:

Anybody know what's going on with Shannon Brown and his camp? It seems he is an afterthought now. I guess with Blake signed, Sasha on the roster, and Fish being worked out, we need a defensive guard to be added, huh?

Von Wafer is a player... but not one we need I think.

would we rather have tony allen? a guy who can share bron/melo/durant guarding duties with ron ron, or von von, a crazy guy who can light it up from time to time but has a history of being a cancer?

The Lakers are still negotiating with Brown, but the priority of the FO is to get a deal done with Fisher as soon as possible ...

To prepare 4 the Heat I like Tony Allen and resign SHANNON BROWN to create depht behind Kobe and Artest to defend D-wade and Lebron

So you have
Lebron and. Wade VS Kobe, Artest, Shannon, Tony Allen, Luke, Ebanks and Odom

This depth will wear down Lebron and Wade and allow our Front court of Bynum and Gasol to do the heavy lifting and DOMINATE bosh and whoever!!!!!!

This is the first I've heard of this. Can't believe he would take a pay cut to come back.

We dont need to build our team to mirror another's. They need to be tryna keep up with us. Im not saying we dont need to add, but we need to get our needs first and we're kinda strapped for cash.

Well, it would not necessarily be a pay cut ... The Lakers do have Early Bird rights to him, so, if they got desperate, they could pony up a lucrative two-year deal to him to fill out their roster with athleticism and some triangle experience ...

More probably, though, he would have to come back for the balance of the MLE, which would be a pay cut in the first year at least, or the vet's minimum, which would be an even larger slash in his salary. Obviously, Brown would likely only consider these options if offers on the open market dry up entirely for him, a situation which is unlikely, though it is still too early in free agency to tell for sure either way ...

I did like his production when he was in Houston though. I doubt though he gets as high numbers as he did in Houston
