"Whether we get loads of happy fans or unhappy fans showing up outside his home, we will be prepared to keep the traffic moving," he said. "There has been a lot of traffic in the area lately, but there have been no problems."

McNeeley said James has been a good neighbor since he moved into the township about two years ago.

"He has hired our officers to work off-duty at his property," he said. "There has always been an officer there, inside the gate. He has increased the number of officers working there in the past week."

McNeeley said he has a plan in place in case hundreds of people show up that would include calling in aid from surrounding police departments. The Bath force has 20 officers.

"We're hoping we won't need it," he said.

McNeeley said his office has been besieged with calls from people looking for some inside information about James' pending decision to stay in Cleveland or sign with another team.

"People think that because our officers are at his house all the time that we have the inside scoop," McNeeley said. "That's jut not the case. He is very tight-lipped about his plans."

It is a shame how much he means to Cleveland the fact that 90% of the city's income is based off him is pathetic. That being said of course these people will wanna kill his faamily if he leaves he is crushing there lives.

He is much more then that to them. It seems stupid rioting over a player but he is way more to them. That is why he would be selling himself short going to miami he would be wade's *****. In cleveland he is God. People worship the ground he walks on and he is a big chunk of the income in that city. If he leaves it will be worse then detriot in cleveland and there will be riots and much more.

Cleveland fans are not to be screwed with. You stab us in the back you will have problems. Their are ways to go about leaving Cleveland. Selling us out on national TV is not one of those ways.

I can't wait to see him try and sell that house lol.

I highly doubt it will be in Cleveland. Most likely at Lebrons house. I'm not sure how fast Cleveland people will respond lol. After this coffee.

If he really does leave and rip the heart out of all the Cavs fans on national tv like expected then of course they will riot. LeBron would be looked at as the ultimate a$$hole and he should! It's one thing to leave your hometown for another team, but it is another thing to disrespect your hometown like this.

Ever hear of this:

And that was just some meaningless baseball game.

And tonight there are 23-cent beer promotions at bars.

I don't care where he goes. As long as we don't have 3 guys of their caliber on the same team. I don't care how many people want to say there are still better teams in the East because that is not true. All 3 of those guys can play a whole game if they have to and feel fine. You think they will have trouble getting a bench? Not a chance. If the Celtics can do what they did in that 1 year with aging players and a bad bench, then just think what Miami can do with those 3 players in their primes with a bad bench. I think everyone just wants the league to be balanced. There is a lot of things that need to change in the NBA.

07-08-2010, 05:37 PM
I'm telling you all, if this little Power Ranger team up he got going doesn't win in year 1,2, and/or 3... CLOWNS, all 3 of them. I HOPE and KNOW EVERY TEAM in the league gonna try to BLOW them out and seriously injure them to end careers.

I ain't even sweating it. They gonna try and embarrass the wrong player and then it's Death Wish 2010 NBA STYLE

Absolutely not. I actually have a few friends from CLE that say they will root for whichever team LeBron signs with, be it NY, MIA, or CHI..........pretty pathetic.

Kakaroach

Will people still go to Cavs games? He still hasn't made his decision. But should he leave, outside of games where he comes back I don't think many people would go, it would just be heartbreaking every time to step in that building knowing LeBron isn't there.

Bornknick73
07-08-2010, 05:46 PM
Well as long as they understand they are basically guaranteeing a title this year. by putting this team together they are. If not why do it? After all this FA crap they pulled they are basically putting all their credibility on the line.

And if they dont win it all? The media surely wont forget this circus. If they dont make it to the Finals and win it all the media will destroy them.

If LeBron is gone next year will I still go to the Cavs game? Of course, I will probably even go to more because I could get cheaper tickets. I find it funny how most people think that the city of Cleveland has a bunch of front runner fans. Have you guys ever heard of the Browns?
