Apparently he said he would spend the 09-10 season out of the NBA, but wants to return this upcoming season.

You're not going to believe this but Stephon Marbury averaged 23 PPG/9.5 APG/2.6 SPG playing in China.

Marbury also won the CBA All Star Game MVP (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7_96aJoIGo)

He humbled himself as a backup with Boston, do you think he could humble himself to be a reserve next season?

Skill-wise Marbury still could be a huge contributor to a team, but the guy has mental issues, and I'm not saying that in a joking manor. Just something isnt right, and I dont know if he can handle the pressure of being in the NBA. Maybe that was why he was able to do so well overseas, because there wasnt the whole media circus antagonizing him?

But I have no idea if he'll play. If he wants to play, I imagine some team will take him, assuming he doesnt ask for more than a couple million.

I'd take Marbury over Iverson 7 days a week. So if Iverson has a chance at getting signed, so does Marbury. Maybe to the Heat on a low contract or antoher team like that.

I think he ends up with Miami. He was showing in China he can knock down the 3.

If Lakers don''t get Fisher (which I bet they will get him), Marbury would be a nice fit, and I bet Jackson would straighten him out.

Doubt it bro. That crazy offseason of his in 2009 really messed up his image.

This.

Marbury right now is nothing more than a backup. Iverson could still start in the NBA but he doesn't have any starting opportunities right now, he has to start out with a 6th Man role.

Miami can get him, along with Shaq, A.Iverson, T.Mcgrady, M.Finley, Big-Z and J.Howard to fill out his vet min bench with former stars. A total circus of a team with Riley as ring leader.

Chalmers
Wade
LeBron
Bosh
Shaq

Iverson
Finley
McGrady
J.Howard
Big-Z
