I was just talking about how LeBron wouldn't be able to wear his signature headband in Chicago, and I remembered how the Magic don't allow it either. What other teams outlaws headbands?

what's the reason for disallowing headbands for some teams?

nate mcmillan doesn't let the blazers wear headbands. i think it's a dumb rule.

I really don't get it. If a player is more comfortable with a headband, why wouldn't you want them to wear it?

rules are for the coach to enforce to show who's boss. according to them, it shows the commitment to the team. it also shows that a headband isn't important to wear, your gameplay is important?

i don't know... just guessing.

Headbands are really kinda stupid if you think about it. But some guys think it makes em cool. The only guy on our team that really wears one is James Harden, although I've seen Mustafa Shakur wearing one in Summer League ball so I guess that makes two for us.

It depends on a person. Flynn and Brewer both wear them, but they've been wearing them in college and high school too.

Weird Ben Wallace wore a headband.... It was a Scott Skiles rule.

yeah it's a scott skiles rule. there was a big fuss a couple years ago when big ben went to the Bulls and wanted to wear his headband....so that would include the bucks too hah

The Heat didnt allow them until Jermaine O'Neal. I think only privaledged players earn the right to wear them.
