If LeBron leaves Cleveland, could it be the biggest turnaround(negatively) in NBA History?

Think about it, LeBron laves, Cavs are left with Mo Williams(who is only as valuable as he seems becuz he was playing next to LeBron, Antwan Jamison(who is clearly on the decline himself, and what? Jamario Moon? Booby Gibson, Andy V??

That looks like one of the worst teams in the NBA.

Alot of the players on the Cavs roster are only known becuz theyd played along side LeBron, who made them better.

The Cavs had the best regualr season record last year, could they make NBA History? idk what the biggest negative turnaround in NBA history is..

I guess they won't be dancing and taking pictures during games anymore.

Without LeBron, I don't think the Cavs win 40 games. Not enough scoring.

I think the cavs if they lose lebron will be close to that kind of turnaround.

um remember, if they dont get LeBron, that means they will have about 16 mil in cap space. Cap space and trade bait = opportunity. Not to mention they went to the finals in 07 with a starting 5 of LBJ (at 22 years old), Pavlovic, Gooden, Hughes, Big Z....there are better pieces there now (excluding LeBron obviously) than there were then unless of course you subscribe to the JJ Hickson < Donyell Marshall camp... It's not going to be 30 win season for them...

Yes, I am a knick fan.

Lottery team, and they will probably get the same attention as the Pacers.

The Bulls went from 3-Peat to the the worst 3 year winning pct of any non-expansion team in league history.

From MJ-Pip and Phil to Jerry's Kids and Tim Floyd.

The Cavs will go from losing in the 2nd round to winning 22 games. A big drop, but nowhere near the biggest.

If they win 60 without Lebron, I will take a dump and eat it while broadcasting it via Justin.tv .
Thats how surprising it would be.

40 games? they'll have trouble winning 10.

Just think about this: How bad would the Miami Heat have been in 2010-2011 if Wade and Bosh had signed somewhere else?

Talk about single-digit wins...

Its sad how one man can make or destroy a franchise in the matter of one hour lol..The Bulls of 99' was a disapointment but remember they lost MJ, Pippen, Phil Jackson, and key players, the Cavs still have solid players and a new solid head coach, so if they finish anywhere near the bottom of the standings, it will be a Pre-James era all over again

1998-1999 Bulls. Championship team that won 3 in row to the #1 pick the following year.

This really goes to show how bad the Cavs team really is. Take away some great teams best player and they should still be a near .500 + team.

I think they will have a fire sale and trade everyone for expirings and shorter contracts.

This isnt even close--the Cleveland Cavs didn't even win a damn title with LeBron.

The answer is the 98-99 Bulls for the reasons everyone else has said.

Mo Williams
Delonte West
Jamario Moon

If they don't add anybody that looks awful

Cavs are in a bad spot without LBJ. Too many old guys on big contracts. They should definitely look to trade their long term contracts to contenders for expirings and draft picks and completely rebuild. No one on that roster is worth keeping, either their talent level is too low or their contract is too high.

This thread oughtta be closed. It's disgusting that so many douche bags feel the need to kick Cleveland fans while they're down.
