He's announcing his destination and giving the proceeds to the Boys and Girls Club of America. I really don't see why you should make an effort NOT to watch it.

I'm sure ESPN would be ******** their pants if they saw that a guy named magichatnumber9 and a few of his internet friends were boycotting their LeBron special.

It is what it is and I will watch like the majority of sports fans alike. The $ is going to charity so I can't complain too much although that is just an excuse for LeBron to have his special.

No but this "press conference" is pretty much the precedent of why I cannot stand Lebron James.

I'm going to watch it....I wanna know how LeBron James announces where he's going. I'm hoping for something WWF style where he shows up with with a Cavs jersey on with Byron Scott and then Riley comes out and hits Scott with a chair and rips off James' Cavs jersey to reveal a Heat jersey underneath

@magichatnumber9

There are 4 threads with approximately 3500 posts in them total. I think this is the moment that we all have been waiting for like it or not, the way its presented. There will be one more mega thread. And then hopefullly that will be the end of this nonsense.

I don't know yet but if it gets corny I'm switching to baseball.

Then I dont understand you. How u make a thread about boycotting and referring to it as MESS and then talk about "iono yet, but if it gets corny im switching to baseball"; therefore you must intend on watching it.

Anyway, I will be working at a restaurant and you best believe I'm having the TVs switched to ESPN!

Why is everyone so overdramatic these days? Can't you just not watch something without calling for an internet boycott? Either you are interested, or you're not.

Personally, it's not a big deal to me. I'll watch it if there is nothing better on tv. But ESPN could be showing a lot worse...so who cares?

I am recording it. This day may be historic someday. An original DVD may be worth money 50 years from now.

I love how people are getting mad, saying lebron is selfish and has a ego(meanwhile there still going to tune in to this so called outrageous event). The people who are mad are only mad because hes making them wait; in reality there the selfish ones......This is a big event and there hasnt been one of its kind in awhile, it deserves a big stage, hes having fun with it, you need to get a life if this offends you so much.

Is there really a thread to boycott this

Not any more.

It's obviously a polarizing topic, but the more and more threads that pop up about it, even the ones against it, just prove how massive of a story this is- not just the special, but LeBron.

We don't need multiple threads about his ESPN special.
