I've said it before, don't get too mad Bulls fans. Vinny got a raw deal in Chi-town. Good hire I think, as long as VDN gets along with Baron Davis and he gets the respect of those players.

As a Bulls fan, I'm not mad at all. I'm glad people in another time zone will be exposed to his hair (and note cards). I hope things work out for the Clippers, the team has far too much talent to 'not do anything' once again...

I really hope things work out for VDN.

Vinny wasn't horrible in Chicago. Hopefully he can make a playoff run with the Clips--they certainly have enough talent.

I think Vinny could've waited for a better gig but he should become a good coach and I wish him the best of luck.

Clippers need to move Baron Davis asap though.

2 playoff seasons in 2 years. Never understood the hate; he brought a team that wasn't even suppose to make the playoffs 2 years ago into the playoffs.

Good luck to him. Seemed like a good guy, just a clueless coach with the Bulls. He was put in a tough spot in Chicago though, probably should have been an Assistant first instead of thrown into the fire right away. If he learns from his mistakes and how to call more than 2 plays (pick/roll, Iso) then he might have a chance with a pretty talented roster.

because record isnt really a good indication of how good/bad of a coach you are, there have been some great coaches on losing teams and some winning teams that have a clueless head coach.

not saying he's bad.he's a good motivator, just his play calling/x's and o's skills leave much to be desired

Good for Del Negro. I dont think he was such a bad coach. fairly decent in my opinion. we'll see if he can turn the clippers around and actually make them a respectable team now

Glad to see he gets another shot at coaching...didn't think it would be this soon though.

didn't take him long to get a new job. From one 1st overall pick to the next.

He's a good fit for the Clips.
He has experience dealing with a terrible front office.

I liked Vinny but as a coach I was Meh.Made alot of? calls. I kind of hoped he went to NCAA brush up on some coaching skills and come back 3-4 years.
