View Full Version : UNCONFIRMED: Lebron and Bosh choose Miami?

h2r09

Wstrn Conf exec just told me LBJ, Bosh will join Wade in Mia. Hope he's wrong

LBJ-Bosh-Wade source is solid. Told me Shaw would turn down Cavs job 12 hrs b4 it happened.

. Dont kill the messenger on this. I'm just repeating what inside source said on LBJ, Bosh. Keep in mind he's in West.

Source had heard that from Bosh's people. Not LeBron's. So who knows?

All of that said, this does come from well-connected exec. It is worth repeating.

All these from Sam Amico on twitter.

This goes with the reports of Stephen A and the reports we heard from multiple people who said lebron had already been recruiting for the heat, bbut again, nobody knows and in no way am i saying this is 100% true

It's amazing the stuff people will believe. I just read in another thread, a well-thought out argument as to why the Bulls could not possibly acquire both Bosh and Wade -- we could not manage dual S&Ts and each player would want the max.

Now please explain to me, somebody, how Miami would accomplish this feat, with only two (2) players on their roster? Pleaase, somody...ANYBODY???

BC said he's not taking **** offers for Bosh and would rather let Bosh walk.

But Bosh said he's not taking anything less than $130 for 6 years cuz he doesn't make as much money as LBJ and Wade when it comes to endorsement.

hmm, maybe because wade wouldnt have to be signed and traded for considering we could already offer him the max and we have a huge trade exeception and the raptors first round pick plus beasley, not to mention we would still have even 11 million more after that iis done a nd 16 million more if beasley is gone too.

The New York sports executive who has signed free agents to contracts totaling more than a billion dollars doesn't believe the New York Knicks have any shot to land LeBron James.

Brian Cashman believes they have the only shot.

"LeBron James is going to be a Knick," the New York Yankees' general manager said Monday after hearing the news that Amare Stoudemire had agreed in principle to play his home games at Madison Square Garden.

"I'm convinced of it. New York is the place that will allow LeBron to be the player and person he wants to be, and it's all coming together. Just listen, LeBron James will be a Knick."

Cashman conceded he was going solely on gut instinct. But that gut instinct was right on the $423.5 million offseason score of CC Sabathia, Mark Teixeira and A.J. Burnett that inspired the Yankees' 27th World Series title.

On cue, James arrived at his Akron basketball camp Monday wearing a Yankees cap.

3 Max, 2 2nd rounders means 5 players. I think the minimum roster is 12/13 so they would need 7-8 vet mins on a roster. Is that even realistic on this market? I don't think so.

that right there is already 9. i dont hink it will be too hard to find 3-4 more vets to play for the minimum on that team, plus vets always become availble throughout the year for cheap because they negotioate buyouts or get traded to **** teams and such.

Well I think Wade, James and Bosh can easily accomplish their goal of winning a championship by joining forces instead of joining separate teams. If Wade and Bosh join the Bulls you have to think that James would realize the Cavs have no shot next season. If James joins the Knicks or Nets it may take some growing pains to win a championship.

Wade is the most Championship ready side-kick James and Bosh can pair with. I think James and Bosh feel pressure to want to win as soon as possible.

The Heat maybe able to get Shaquille O'Neal, Jason Williams, Matt Barnes, Raja Bell, and Eddie House to take the minimum.

I just love how people seize every opportunity to cuss when they are backed into a corner. Once again, I was going on the argument someone made before about Bosh, LBJ and Wade wanting the max -- 6-year deals -- they would get through a S&T??? Now, as for Beasley, who are u kidding? You couldn't give him away in a yard sale.

Rationally, this 3-stud scenario cannot take place. None of these guys are going to make the necessary sacrifices. Can u envision, Bosh or LBJ accepting less for the privilege of playing on DWade's team? Oh wait, yes u could -- u are a Heat fan.
