Wonderful.
:ohno:
This had better not turn into something serious.

We shoulda traded him while we had the chance. BJ ryan all over again

that is another reason why a Marcum trade would have made so much sense.. he has a bad injury history and he just doesn't seem to be the durable type.

anyways, no point talking about it now. hopefully, it isn't serious and we can trade him after the break

Didn't the injury bug head off to Houston with Brad Arnsberg?

I assume this means Rzeps gets the call, no?

Most likely Scrabbles.......or maybe even Drabek or Stewart?

It better be Rzeps taking his spot.

If it's Tallet then Cito can **** right off

How about calling up ALMOST forgotten about Scott Richmond....makes sense to me!!!

side note:
I was just checking how EE was making out in AAA.
8 hits and 12 RBI with 3 HR in the last 3 games.
And throw in 5 errors in 7 games ...no pun intended

I would like to see Drebek called up, but its most likely going to be Rzepczynski, or someone lower on the depth charts (Ray, Tallet)

I think it will be Rzep. Or Cito can be gay and give it to Tallet and call up someone for a bullpen spot.

Wow, I didn't know he was hurt. That sucks. Hopefully it's not serious. I'd seriously consider trading him if we can get a good deal.

Might have been bothering him for a little bit and we waited until we were out of contention.

Id take the offense and live with the defense. We are desperate for some hitting right now. The fields in AAA arent all that great from what i hear

E5 gets the call. Somebody will have to be dropped from the 40-man.

Marcum was on pace for 200+ innings. Who really expected him to pitch this many innings coming off TJ surgery? I thought we'd be lucky to get 150 out of him.

It's good that they're being cautious with him but if/when he comes back I wouldn't mind if they gave him an extra day off every now and then.

I think it is good as well. A.A. said that he will come back after the All-Star break but they said that about Travis Snider and it has been nearly six weeks. Keep Marcum out for July, maybe August and bring him back up so he can finish in the 20-25 start range, have a nice record and pat him on the back for coming back from Tommy John and let Richmond or Rzep come up and do well, to see if they are good for Rotation 2011 or trade bait at the dead line.
